Leo went up the stairs first and quickly looked around. People looked frantic and were rushing everywhere. "We are gonna be in so much trouble." Virgo winced. "Um, I think we already are..."Leo gulped and spotted the piercing icy blue eyes glaring at him.
Taurus squinted at them and walked toward them, he seemed so calm it was scary. The crystal necklace swayed back and forth, glimmering in the bright sun. "You two, are in so much trouble I can't explain it." He growled.
"I'm sorry my king, forgive me..." Virgo bowed her head. "Oh I'll forgive you, you are relieved of your duties for a week, no sword, no armor, and no magic." He ordered. "But sir." She started. "Don't make me take away your right to walk around freely." He shook a finger.
"Yes sir..." She took her sword and armor off and threw it to the side. She was left with a t-shirt and shorts. Taurus touched her forehead with a glowing finger, Virgo felt something drain from her body, she felt weaker but she didn't complain, she didn't want the punishment to get worse.
"And you." Taurus grabbed a handful of Leo's white shirt, the black jacket of the tux ripped in his hands. "One night in the Dark Zone." He said in a low voice. Leo's face paled. "Excuse me s-sir?" He hoped he had heard wrong. "One. Night. In. The. Dark. Zone." Taurus paused between each word.
"Sir, isn't that a little too harsh?" Virgo attempted to save him. "I will not allow my civilians to think they can just waltz into hell like nobody's business, no mercy." He shoved Leo back. Leo's innocent gold eyes widened in fear.
"You'll be lucky if you come back alive." Taurus huffed and snapped his fingers. Other guards grabbed him by the arms and dragged him to the Dark Zone. Virgo just watched as he was pulled away, Leo didn't even fight.
She shivered at the thought of a night in the Dark Zone.
"Hey you ok?" A happy sounding voice snapped Taurus from his angered state. "Oh! Pisces!" He didn't want to share what he had just done. "Ya I'm fine, just a long day." He gave a tired smile. Pisces smiled and tilted her head. Her multi colored eyes always fascinated him and still do, he could look into them for hours.
"Well...I was wondering if I had permission to make something in the castle kitchen?" She put her hands together and rocked back and forth. "Permission granted!" Taurus laughed and wrapped a hand around her shoulder and lead her to the castle.
"Alright 'ere we are." The guard had a slight accent. They threw him on the ground, the wisps of cloud flew around in the air. Leo considered begging but he knew it wouldn't get him anywhere. "Get in." The guard forcibly lifted him up and shoved him past the blackened gate.
He was in Dark territory now. The burly guard locked the gate, set a timer, and walked off. Leo was planning to just stay near the gate but he knew the Dark Zone doesn't work that way. It will force you into the heart of it until you can't find your way out, it was like the land had a mind of its own.
He realized he had a small cut in his stomach but it didn't hurt enough for him to pay attention to it. He heard soft whispers in his ear he had been here for only one minute and was already going crazy.
He took a seat on the cold hard rock and waited until his time was up.
"Goodnight Aquarius." Scorpio yawned and walked into his massive room. Aquarius couldn't wait to take the armor off, she couldn't breathe and it felt like 100 degrees. She locked the door and peeled off the black armor and placed it on the stand.
She took a deep relaxing breath it was like that moment of air you get when you have a cold, it only lasted momentarily. The suffocating feeling came back along with a jabbing pain in her spine. She bit the inside of her cheek to stop herself from screaming.
