"TURN LEEEEEFT!" The car screeched to the right. "What the hell!" Aries yelled behind the wheel. The police sirens were distant but they were catching up. "I SAID LEFT WHY DID YOU GO TO THE RIGHT!" Cap looked about ready to pull his hair out. "I PANICKED OK?! I GET NERVOUS WHEN I DO ILLEGAL THINGS!" Aries was pressing on the gas pedal.
"Maybe you should have thought about that before stealing from the god damn bank!" Cap huffed. "I was desperate ok?!" Aries kept his focus on the narrow road. "Why the hell did I agree to this." Cap covered his face. "Because your are my best friend?" Aries's eye twitched.
"Best friend? Is this what best friends do?" Cap was so frustrated. "Never mind that but the cops are catching up!" Aries checked the mirror. "Damn..." Cap tried to think on the spot. "Damn damn damn! Why can't I think of anything!" He pounded his forehead with his hand.
"Yo calm down!" Aries yelled. "CALM DOWN?! WE ARE GETTING CHASED BY THE POLICE!" Cap panted. Aries punched Cap in the shoulder. "Get it together, we aren't done yet." He smiled. "What are you doing?" Cap asked, sounding scared.
They saw lights ahead of them, they were cornered. "Ok never mind we are screwed." Aries said. "WHAT?!!!!" Cap screamed. Aries halted the car and turned it off. "This is it man." Aries patted his partner's shoulder. "Wait you're just giving up?" Cap asked. "Nothing else to do." Aries sighed and got out of the car and put his hands behind his head.
They were on a high hill with water crashing below them. Cap followed his movement and admitted defeat. Cap closed his eyes and waited for his hands to get handcuffed. "Sir get away from the cliff!" A man yelled into the mega phone.
Aries was dangerously close to the cliff. Cap realized this was his chance...he could either run and leave him behind or get arrested. The police had their guns out and ready just in case Aries carried something lethal.
Cap slowly walked in front of Aries. "What are you doing?! I created a distraction so you could run!" Aries exclaimed. "Do you really think I'm that stupid to not realize that? I stayed on purpose." Cap smiled.
"You idiot!" Aries punched Cap in the shoulder. They heard a click of the guns being loaded. Cap sprinted to one of the officers who panicked and fired randomly. Cap heard a cry of pain, he turned around and saw Aries wobbling over the edge.
Cap gasped and ran and grabbed his hand just in time. He strained to pull him up. "Have you been sneaking extra helpings in the prison?" Cap joked. Aries couldn't help but laugh but then winced at the pain in his leg. The officers had no idea what to do.
They considered running to help but they received an order. "Leave them be." A deep voice said. "But sir." One started. "LEAVE THEM BE!" He repeated forcefully. "Yes sir." He sighed. "Let's move." He ordered. Everyone got in the cars without asking and drove off.
"Haha I wish they left a few seconds earlier." Cap groaned at the weight. It felt like his arm was about to rip off. "Cap, let go." Aries gulped. "What?! Are you crazy?" Cap saw movies too much and knew if he said no Aries would drop himself so he used both hands and grabbed onto Aries arms.
"I'm undeniably crazy." Aries sighed. Cap tried pulling him up but he felt his body slip forward. "Shit." Cap hissed. "Let go!" Aries shook a little. "No! This is what best friends do isn't it?!" Cap shouted, tears prickling his eyes. "Aw don't cry now." Aries chuckled.
"I am NOT crying." Cap sniffled. "You must be frustrated you can't wipe your tears away right now, if you let go, you can." Aries tilted his head. "I said I am not CRYING!" His voice trembled as he said that. "Don't lie." Aries felt his own eyes water.
The waves crashed, beckoning them to fall, as if saying that it would catch them. Cap felt one single tear fall and plop onto Aries's cheek. "You know, you must be pretty strong, holding me this long." He said. "I have been working out." Cap said in anger, swallowing loudly. "Like hell you were, it's the adrenaline, once it wears off you can't hold me anymore." Aries said.
Capricorn's eyes widened. They were best friends since they were kids, so they were practically brothers. The tears dropped one by one. "There ya go, let it out." Aries laughed, not caring thy he was dangling. Cap yelled loudly as he cried, the tears fell down his cheeks. He could feel the salty tears drop.
Aries smiled and let his own tears fall.

Cap felt his grip loosening. "No..." Cap felt his body lean forward as Aries was slowly going down. "Cap you're gonna fall too!" Aries was full on crying now. "I don't care!" Cap shuffled himself forward until there was too much weight in the front, making him tip over.
The wind rushing past him, he couldn't hear the screams but he saw Aries falling next to him, his eyes were closed, looking peaceful. He slammed into the water and let the waves wash over him.
