It felt like a feather
To the touch
I thought you a warming handThe sun burned my skin
It wished to burn me to the ground
The child lost her smileHer heart sank by the sight
The heavens darken
And I was lost.I thought I found solace in thee
Thou rain
I thought you loved me.Fire kindled from thy nostrils
I lost my footing
The ground openAnd many fell
Fell to empty
And forsaken landWhere their nightmares ruled the day
You rumbled
And your tears fellThey descended in my heart
I couldn't shy from it
For I had caused itI was too weak
I couldn't see
The sadness in your eyesForgive me my friend
Forever I desire
To remain by thy side.
