Once Upon a Oneshot

-OC Oneshot: "You're here!"-

"You're here!"
A Dylan and Elizabeth Oneshot.
(Dylan is my OC, Elizabeth is SummeringBlizzard 's)

It had been months since Dylan has walked on solid land, the only piece of 'land' that he could get close to was his ship that he spent most of his time on that was made from the trees that came from it. He would stay on the land, he really would, but then overtime the more he stayed away from the sea, the more it called to him; Telling him secrets of untold adventures that awaited him on the big open blue sea. And he couldn't help but listen. Before you could say anything, he would have his bags packed and his ship ready to sail on the blue ocean, leaving a note saying that he would be back soon.

Travelling the world and going on adventures is fun, but he wished his dear friends Elizabeth and Marius could join him... But he knew that they had responsibilities... After all, they are royals. Sure, Dylan is too, but he had cut off his ties to that life a long time ago, so he could break free of his guided cage. He missed them both very much, even though he would send letters and keep the two of them in his thoughts daily, but... As much as he missed Marius, he always missed Elizabeth the most, and he knew exactly why; He wasn't stupid. He was in love with her.

Who could blame him though? Its Elizabeth. He guesses he could say that it was her nature that struck him, and found himself attracted to. She is so down to earth, even though she belonged in the heavens because she is almost like a fallen angel to Dylan.

He hated leaving her behind when he had to, but he always told himself that it was for good intentions.

He remembered when he left for his recent voyage, that Elizabeth had woken up early that morning to come to his room and see him all ready to go...

When Dylan folded the last piece of his clothing, and put it in his luggage, he heard the door squeak and saw a slim figure at the crack of the opened door. He felt a smile appear on his face as he closed his bag, keeping his eyes trained on the figure.

"Liz?" He whispered.

"Mm."

"What are you doing up?" He asked, a bit of a concerned undertone in his voice as he asked that. He saw Elizabeth walk into his room and close the door after her, yawning slightly before replying,

"You know? For a guy who goes out a lot, you would think he would be quiet when he packs up." Dylan felt his cheeks redden.

"Sorry." He says, rubbing the back of his head. Elizabeth waves it off and sets herself down on his made up bed, immediately messing it up again so that she could make herself comfortable.

"I would lecture you about how sleep is important to me, but I am way too tired for that." Dylan smirks.

"So, I get off easy this time?" Elizabeth gives him a tired playful look and lies down on the pillows giving out another yawn.

"Mm... No."

"No?"

"No."

"Well then, what can I do to please the princess?" Dylan asks, walking up to the bed and sitting himself down at the foot of it.
