Epilogue of Colours

A few years later...

               "Dad?"

"Yes sweetie?"

"Why is the world all black and white and grey?" A little girl asked as she rolled over on the grass to look at her father with curious eyes. Hiccup smiled at her and looked up to Elsa who was above him, running her fingers through his hair as he was resting his head on her lap.

"You wanna take this?" He asks, smirking. Elsa shrugs and purses her lips still playing with his hair.

"You can go ahead." She replies. Hiccup gasps as he looks back over to his daughter who was looking at him with an expectant look.

"Did you hear that? Your mother is letting me explain something!" He says, exasperating his voice. His daughter giggled when she saw her mother humph and pout.

"I don't explain things all the time." She defends. Hiccup raised his brow suggestively.

"You sure?" Elsa thought for a while, her face slowly turning into realization, and she tisked.

"Oh shush!" She says, holding her tongue and playfully pushes him off her lap, making him grunt when he was left with the hard ground.

"I'm only speaking the truth!" She waved it off and mumbled under her breath, "Yeah, yeah." And had a devious look on her face after a moment. Hiccup knew what was coming.

"No... No..."

"Tickle fight!" Elsa said, and reached down to tickle her husbands belly. Their daughter squealed and she joined in as well. Hiccup roared in laughter as he tired to escape the hands that were attacking him.

"Haha! Stop!--Please!" He giggled, curling up but that didn't stop the two girls. "I surrender! I surrender!" After a second longer of the tickle attack, Elsa and their daughter pulled back, both of them with goofy smiles on their faces. "Now, may I tell why our little dragoness sees black and white?" The little girl sits down beside Elsa and looks up to her father adoringly while Elsa motions him to go ahead.

Even though she can't see it, Hiccup saw all of his, and Elsa's traits in their little girl; She had inherited Hiccups drown hair, and his tan skin. She had a mix of both of them when it came to her facial features, like her jaw, her freckles, and her nose too. But one thing that shone through that screamed that she was also her mother's daughter was her brilliant blue eyes.

Hiccup remembered when Elsa was pregnant with their daughter that he had expressed his wish that she would get her eyes.

"Because I love your eyes. They're the most beautiful eyes in the world and every time I look into them, I fall in love with every second I spend knowing that I get to look at them for the rest of my life." After, he was earned with a tender smile followed with a kiss on his lips.

"Hiccup..."  He smiled back and pecked her lips back.

"I mean it."

He even remembered her birth, and his anticipation to see her eyes almost unbearable when she started to first open them to the world. When she did, he couldn't stop kissing Elsa's cheek, saying against it after each kiss, "She has your eyes, she has your eyes, thank you lord!" Making her giggle and blush under his attention. "She is beautiful..." She agrees. He also remembers the doctors question after they had been admiring their new born daughter.

"What will you name her?"

"Nessie, when everyone is born, we don't have the ability to see in colour." Nessie rolls her eyes.
