Chapter Five

"How long has she been asleep?" I asked as I started to wake up.

"About two days, she's nearly recovered, the only thing left is for her nerves and eye to heal, and maybe any other wmotional damage" Batman responded.

"Roy you should rest, if you hadn't been sp reckless we could have saved her before all this happened" Green Arrow yelled at me.

"....No....." I said to them as Oliver looked surprised and Bruce looked intersted in my explination.

"Im guessing this has to do with the sample of hair matching chetah DNA" Bruce guessed as I noded a bit lightly.

"When she abducted me she looked like Kitty, only her skin was like a chetah, then she completely turned into one, even stronger and faster in that form.....I was helpless" I explained.

"I asked her about Kitty, and in what looked like a honest way she said she had no idea, but she said something about Victor, then told me to tell Kitty Lady Chetah was back" I finished explaining.

"That explains the hair, but now we need to know who she is, maybe she's working with Wonder Womans enemy, Chetah, or maybe Victor, another case opens" Batman said almost to himself and us.

"I think it's best we don't tell her about Lady Chetah, for now" Green Arrow said.

"Im not keeping secrets from her" I said to him as I growled in both anger and pain.

"It seems like a unfair relationship, she keeps her secrets but she knows yours" Batman said.

Like he knew anything about relationships, this was comeing from Gotham's playboy.

"It my relationship, I'd like to thank both of you if you stayed out of it" I said a bit angry.

"Just a point I wanted to point out" Batman said as he left upstairs leaving me with my ex gaurdian.

It was what seemed a long akward scilence.

None of us spoke just exschanged looks then quickly turned to Kitty.

My gaze never left her face of a godess, mainly because I wanted to be there when she woke up.

"It's crazy how she's the cause of all this, you'd think a princess would have the easy life" Green Arrow said trying to lighten the mood.

I growled a bit.

"No one has a easy life Oliver" I said to him coldly.

"I know...just.....you know" he said nervously.

"Yea you should know........im sorry I've been so hard, it's just after everything you did and everythings thats been happening....." I sighed.

"It's okay, I get it, you don't think it's hard on me either.....both of you are like my own children...it gets me stressed out too" Oliver explained.

"We don't have time to be sitting around and getting our wounds fixed, there's more of them....a lot more" I said.

"How do you know?" Oliver asked a bit in disbelife.

"Who else saved Kitty? There was a whole army when we lost that battle.....and the wounds and marks were made from more than one person" I explained to him in a serious voice.

"Just rest, don't worry about it now, when the time comes it will come" Oliver said.

I layed back a bit more relaxed but still looking back and forth to Oliver and Kitty.

Oliver used the Batcomputure to watch the local news channel.

"This is Vicki Vale reporting outside from the Wayne Manor where just a few days ago some monster from what is belived hell came to life in this house, a small clip has been released from the police department" said the blonde reporter with a black coat covering her entire outfit.
