Chapter Nineteen

It's been a week of full out training and missions.

Thankfully it's been a busy week but any moment I get to go into a deep thought it goes back to feeling lonely and wanting him.

His warm chest and arms wrapped around me, those shining blue eyes staring into mine and those soft innocent kisses around my neck.

I know being on this team is greatly wrong and going to end in a total disaster. Aside from that Miss Martian is terrible at acting like I'm not pregnant, any little thing on missions or training she immediately attends to me as for Superboy he greatly holds back when sparring together.

No matter how much I ask and beg them to act normal they cant get themselves to do it.  Thankfully red tornado has been babysitting us, Canary and Arrow regularly check on us but not enough to notice me.

Batman rarely came in, only when specific missions were needed.

"Kaul is pretty nice, you know handsome, commanding, don't you think? you should totally ask him out" Artemis told Megan as they watched both superboy and Kauldur spar each other.

"Hes more of a brother to me but I think the cutest couple would be you and wally" she said as we all turned to see wally eating a sub from who knows where. "your so full of passion and hes so full of.."

"it" me and Artemis both finished as we watched him and all slightly chuckled.

We then had turned our heads to see Superboy finsh kauldur in training.

As soon as they finished Red Tornado came down from his small secret lair above us and without hesitation Wally ran to him with excitement. "Do you have any missions for us?" Wally eagerly asked.

"Missions are Batman's responsibility" Red Tornado answered in his robotic voice.

"Yea but you know Batman is out doing the whole Robin thing" Wally said back.

That's right boy blunder wasn't here, no wonder it was quiet and I didn't feel any heavy eyes on me.

"they are in Gotham but you're headed somewhere right? meeting a couple friends maybe a hot date? Maybe a Mission?" Wally said raising his bourbon eyebrows.

"If we can be of any help is what I think Wally is trying to say" Kauldur explained.

Red Tornado turned around opening and image of an elderly man who looked familiar on the hologram. He held a golden staff that caught my eye, as for the man he was dressed in a formal black and white suite, with graying hair and blue eyes.

"This is Kent Nelson, a friend, he is 106 years old,and has been missing for over 23 days, he was a charter of the Justice Society, the precursor to your mentors Justice league" Red Tornado explained.

"I thought he looked familiar, Nelson was scourer supreme" I blurted out.

"otherwise known as Doctor Fate" Kauldur added.

"Pshh more like doctor fake, so the guy knows a bit of advanced science, he just uses it to scare off bad dudes and impress the hot babes" Wally whispered to Artemis, I quickly turned around giving him a look.

"Kent could simply be on one of his regular walk-about but he is care taker to the Helmet of Fate, the source of the Doctors mystique might, and is very unwise to leave that type of power unguarded" Tornado explained.

"Hes like the great sorcerer priest and priestesses of mars it would be such an honor to help find him" Megan said with humble pride.

"Me too!" Wally said raising his hand and jumping in excitedly. "Extremely honored, I can hardly believe it, magic rocks" he finished while holding up a rock and roll sign with both hands. Artemis and me both rolled our eyes.
