‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:7-8‬ ‭ (NLT‬‬)

"Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love."

~~~My Thoughts~~~

This verse astounds me, it says that if we don't show love, we don't know love. Thus, meaning we don't know God since God is love. So in order to truly understand God and love, we have to first live out love. Before we let it become about us experiencing and feeling love, we need to display love to others, then we will find true love in the one who is love.
