"Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends."
~~~My Thoughts~~~
A lot of times we don't realize that real friendships can require maintenance. When you are close to someone, it becomes even easier to hurt their feelings because they trust you as a close friend. But when your friend gets offended or hurt by you, even if you didn't intend it, this verse says we need to cover that offense. We need to humble ourselves and apologize in love. But if we keep doing the same thing over and over, we could separate our friendship. Pray for peace and guidance in your friendships, be an encouragement to your friends, not a discouragement.
