"The obvious impossibility of carrying out such a moral program should make it plain that no one can sustain a relationship with God that way. The person who lives in right relationship with God does it by embracing what God arranges for him. Doing things for God is the opposite of entering into what God does for you. Habakkuk had it right: "The person who believes God, is set right by God—and that's the real life.""

~~~My Thoughts~~~

This verse is referring to how we cannot make ourselves right with God by obeying the law. I often struggle with this, I don't feel that I deserve a relationship with God unless I was a "good Christian" or did "good things". But the amazing thing is that by the blood of Christ that isn't true. Because Jesus was perfect and He shed His blood for us, God now sees us as perfect. So now we get to have a relationship with God by having faith in Him, and accepting His amazing works in our lives.
