Rayla wakes up at 6 am to Minoru saying, "It is time to wake up Rayla-Sama", and Rayla responds by kicking him out of her room and yelling, "Stay out of my room". Later that morning at the breakfast table with everyone, Minoru asks Rayla, "Rayla-sama, would you like a cheese and rice omelet, I could make you one if you like". Rayla replies, "No thanks, I am perfectly happy with my bowl of cereal", and he replies, "Ok then, would you like a fruit smoothie". She tells him, "No, I am perfectly happy with my glass of orange juice". Hanako leaves early for school as she has kendo practice early in the morning.
When Rayla and Minoru leave for school, he asks Rayla, "Would you like me to carry your school bag?" and she replies, "No thanks, I'm good". Then suddenly a voice says, "Are you the beast who attacked that girl last night?" and Rayla looks behind her to see boy there age, who has shoulder-length dark brown hair and green eyes, is 6'3, and is wearing a white, long sleeved shirt with a green plaid sweater vest and dark green pants and is holding a wooden sword, standing there looking at her.
Rayla says, "Who are you?" and he tells her, "I am Ryan Ōkamishōnen, a beast hunter". Rayla than transforms into her beast form, she is wearing a golden sleeveless dress with a pink jewel at the top and a transparent pink fabric on the knee length skirt with a golden bow in the back. She is also wearing long white gloves with pink bows on the wrist and elbow, golden heels with pink ribbons that goes 4 inches up the leg, and a golden tiara, necklace, and earrings with pink jewels. Her hair is golden blonde with pink highlights tied in 2 pigtails with golden ribbons and her eyes are silver, and a pair of huge white transparent wings coming from her back.
He suddenly gets a smirk expression on his face and says to her, "Wow, I have never seen anyone so beautiful, I just got to kiss you". He then runs at Rayla before she can say anything and steals a kiss from her lips. She than punches him in the head and turns back to normal, she tells him, "What are you? Some kind of pervert, how dare you kiss me without my permission". Minoru asks her, "Rayla-sama, are you okay?" and she replies, "Yes I'm fine, just a little angry". Ryan suddenly falls to his knees with one hand on the ground and the other on his chest, he says, "What is happening? Why can I barely breath?" Rayla than remembers what Minoru told her the other day and asks him, "Oh no, is he turning into a beast because he kissed me?"
Minoru tells her, "Yes, Rayla-sama, he is turning into a beast" and Rayla asks him, "Why didn't you do anything to stop him if you knew what was going to happen?" and he replies, "Sorry Rayla-Sama, I was in shock that we ran into a beast hunter". Ryan says, "Help me, get rid of this pain", and is enveloped in bright light. When the light dies down, he stands up and looks at himself, his hair is a light brown colour with a pair of wolf ears and his eyes are a lighter shade of green, he is wearing a light brown shirt, dark brown pilots jacket, and dark brown camo pants with a black belt that has a silver wolf buckle and a bag of ammo, has a wolf tail, longer nails, is wearing black hunting boots, a wolf tooth necklace, and is holding a hunters rifle.
He says, "What in the world has happened to me?" and Rayla tells him, "It seems that because you kissed me that you have turned into a beast". He asks her, "Why did kissing you do that to me?" and she tells him, "It is because I am an imperial beast". He says, "What I thought that female imperial beasts were extinct in Japan?" and she tells him, "Well it seems that I'm the last one in Japan". He says, "Why didn't you tell me that before I kissed you?" and she replies, "You're the idiot who kissed me without asking first".
He then says, "I guess you're right but you should have announced your beast status when you transformed", and Rayla replies, "I've only been a beast for like a week now, how I was supposed to know that". Minoru than steps in and says, "We're very sorry Ryan-san for what happened but if me and Rayla-sama don't leave right now were going to be late for school". He then waves his hand over Ryan's face while saying, "Qù shuìjiào, huí dào zhèngcháng", turning him back to normal and puts him to sleep, and then grabs Rayla's hand and runs off with her to school.
When he and Rayla get to school, she asks him, "Why did you do that? He might need help", and he replies, "I had to make sure you got to school on time Rayla-Sama". She says, "I know school is important, but what if something bad happens to him", and he replies, "Nothing bad will happen to him Rayla-sama, if you want to, we can go check on him after school before you start work". She says, "Wait you know where he lives?" and Minoru says, "Yes Rayla-sama, I know the location of all the local beast hunter". Rayla then says, "We're going to check on him after school".
Later that after school, Rayla and Minoru are walking past an house when they see Ryan being thrown out the of the house by a women, who says, "You may be a star student but you're a failure of a beast hunter, how dare you get yourself turned into a beast". Rayla runs up to him and asks him, "Are you okay?" He says, "Yes I'm fine", Minoru then grabs both Rayla and Ryan's hands and says, "Dài wǒmen qù wǒmen zhù de lǚguǎn", taking all three to the dining room of Maison Rozu.
Ryan asks, "Where are we", and Rayla tells him, "We're at my aunts boarding house, me and Minoru-kun both live here". Rayla's aunt Hina than comes in and asks, "When did you guys get home?" and Rayla says, "Just a couple minutes ago". Hina asks her, "Rayla, didn't you work today?" and Rayla says, "Oh no I'm going to be late for work", and leaves the room with Minoru following behind her.
Hina than notices Ryan and asks him, "Oh my, what a handsome young man, are you looking for a place to live". He says, "Yes I am, my parents kicked me of the house for certain reasons, so Could you please let me live here?" She says, "Yes of course you can", and he says, "Thank you for giving me a place to live".
At the maid cafe where Rayla works, Rayla is trying to do her job but is annoyed that Minoru is there to keep an eye on her. After work, Minoru asks her, "Rayla-sama, why do you work in a maid cafe if you're such a feminist?" and she tells him, "Because the money is good and the work is easy".
At Maison Rozu, they seem two adults dropping off some furniture and boxes. The two than leave and Ryan starts taking the stuff inside. Rayla asks, "Do you need any help Ryan-kun?" and he responds, "Yes please that would be a major help". A she is about to pick up a box Ryan suddenly trips and drops the box, spilling shojo manga all over the place. Rayla asks him, "Are you okay?" and notices the shojo manga that spilled out of the manga. She says, "Wait you read shojo manga", and he scoops up the manga into box and says, "So what, the stories are pretty good".
Rayla asks him, "Why did you suddenly trip when I tried to pick up a box?" and Minoru says, "That is because you were doing something that a beast of your caliber shouldn't have". Rayla says, "What? You mean I can help others if they're contracted to me", and he replies, "Yes, I know it is stupid but that's just how it is for imperial beasts like you". She says, "I don't care about my status as a beast, I just want to help others".
Ryan than says, "It is fine, I'll just do it myself", and Rayla suddenly gets an idea, she says, "Minoru-kun, if you want to help me out so much than help Ryan take in his stuff". Minoru gets to helping Minoru take in his stuff. Rayla than goes inside to get ready for dinner.
