Rayla, Minoru, Ryan, and Hanako are walking in to school yard through the front gate when all of a sudden a short boy with short blonde hair and blue eyes wearing glasses and the male school uniform, which is a navy blue gakuran, runs up to them and kisses Rayla on the lips before running up. Minoru asks Rayla, "Rayla-sama, are you okay?" and Rayla tells him, "I'm fine Minoru-kun, I'm more worried about the boy that kissed me, we know what happens when boys kissed me. Hana-chan and Ryan-san, you head to class, me and Minoru are going to check on the boy and see why he did then". Hanako and Ryan agree with Rayla and head to class.
Minoru asks Rayla, "Rayla-sama, why did you choose?" and she tells him, "Your powers over magic are better suited for this than Hana-chan's and Ryan-san's powers". He says, "Thank you for this important job Rayla-sama", and she asks him, "Can you teleport us to the location of where he is now". Minoru does just that and teleports them to the location of the boy, they hide in the shadows to keep an eye on him. They notice he is surrounded by the school's 3 biggest delinquents.
He says, "I did as you asked so give me back my DS", and the 1st delinquent with a blue mohawk says, "Not yet, we have more for you to do, how about giving us nudes of your hot older sister Mamiko". The boy says, "I can't do that, Onee-san would hate me if I asked", and the 2nd delinquent with green highlights says, "We don't care, do it or we will destroy your precious DS". The boy says, "Please don't do that, that was the last gift I ever received from my grandmother before her death", and the 3rd delinquent with a purple ponytail and holding a silver DS says, "We don't care, get us the nudes or else your DS is going to be destroyed".
The boy starts crying and the delinquents start laughing when suddenly Rayla punches the one holding the DS and takes it from him. She says, "I can't believe this could happen at our school, bullying someone weaker than you is just pathetic, you three are such losers, bully anyone else again and you will speak to the school principle". The delinquents scream stuff about how this is not the last time they will see each other and next time they meet things will go differently. Rayla turns to the boy and hands him his DS, she asks him, "Are you okay?" He says, "Everything is fine, thank you for doing that, and I am sorry about the kiss earlier". Rayla says, "That's okay but how do you feel?", and the boy says, "I feel fine". Rayla lets out a sigh of relief that nothing has happened yet and tells him, "My name is Rayla Himeakari, I'm a second year". The boy tells her, "My name is Junji Joki, I am a first year".
Suddenly Junji collapses and lands in the Rayla's arms, Rayla asks Minoru, "Junji-san suddenly collapsed and seems to have a fever, what is wrong with him?" Minoru tells her, "He did kiss you earlier, he might have started his transformation into a beast later than Ryan due to his small size". Rayla asks, "What do we do with him?" and Minoru tells her, "I don't know, for now let's take him to the nurse's office and have you stay with him while I go to class". Rayla agrees and they take Junji to the nurse's office, where Rayla stays with him while Minoru goes to class.
Suddenly Junji wakes up and is engulfed in light, when the light dies down he has turned into a beast. He is wearing a white dress shirt with a blue buttoned vest and embroidered waistcoat, navy blue shorts, knee-high white socks, blue button-up hiking-style boots, a leather collar with a gear, and a big blue top-hat with a gear. He looks at himself and asks, "What is going on? Why am I wearing steam punk?" Rayla tells him, "It looks like you have turned into a beast because you kissed me". He looks confused and says, "What is a beast? How did kissing you turn me into one?"
She tells him, "I am an imperial beast with the ability turn others into beasts by kissing them, and a beast is being with powers who fights against evil from another dimension". He says, "I guess this is my fault for kissing you", and she replies, "You should have asked first but those bullies are to blame, they forced you to kiss me". He asks, "So do I really get to fight evil from another dimension dressed in this steampunk outfit?" and she tells him, "Yes you do". He says, "Wow that is so cool, it just like something out of a visual novel and this steampunk outfit is just perfect". She asks him, "Are you actually happy about this?" and he tells her, "Of course, it is so cool that I can do stuff I see in visual novels".
She says to him, "I think you should turn back to normal", and he says, "Sure thing Rayla-Sempai". Rayla says to him, "To turn back to normal, just concentrate and think about your human form", and he replies, "Ok got it". He tries but doesn't seem to work, he says, "I tried but nothing happened". She says, "That is weird, I will text Minoru and see if he can turn you back to normal". Minoru rushes over and says, "I will try to turn him back to normal Rayla-sama". He then puts his hand over Junji and says, "Biàn huí", but nothing happened. He says, "That is weird, it usually works, Rayla-sama, can I take a closer look at him", and she says, "Sure thing, do whatever you have to, to get him back to normal".
He then waves his hand Junji again and says, "Xìnxī píngmù", which brings up a screen. Minoru takes a look at it and says, "So that is the problem". Rayla asks him, "What is the problem?" and he tells her, "I am not surprised this happened because you are more powerful that the average imperial beast, it seems that kissing you has awakened Junji-san as a royal beast who can wield all forms of water, control poison and acid, and able to use weapons created from his imagination, he is truly a rare beast". Junji says, "Sounds like I'm overpowered", and Minoru says, "Imperial Beasts like Rayla-sama are considered overpowered, royal beasts like you are considered to be at the peak of perfection in terms of power".
Rayla asks Minoru, "How does he turn back to normal?" and Minoru tells her, "Since he has just awakened as a royal beast, his transformations will be unstable for about a week or two, so he won't have much control over it". Junji suddenly turns back to normal and says, "Oh I'm back to normal". Junji then notices the time and says, "Oh no I better get to class". He says, "Thank you for everything Rayla-sempai, See you later", and runs off to class. Minoru looks at Rayla and says, "Rayla-sama, we should head back to class". Rayla and Minoru head back to class.
