YOUR POV
"Why are you being like this?" You asked, not knowing what was about to hit you. Kyle's stone cold eyes pierced yours shooting daggers into your heart. You both had once again gotten into a fight over something that didn't matter. He said nothing to you as he slowly approached you, but you felt nothing but anger towards him as he towered over you. He grabbed your wrist with an iron grip and got close to your face. His hot breath hit your cheek as you winced in pain. "Kyle stop it you're hurting me!" You yelled, his grip only tightened. You looked up at him with nothing but fear in your eyes. "Babe seriously stop" you tried to be firm but he wouldn't listen.
Before you knew it you were thrown back on to the hard wooden floor below you. Your face stung with pain, your butt hurt from falling on it and tears welled up on your eyes. You gently placed a hand where Kyle had struck you. You couldn't believe he would lay a hand on you like that. So many thoughts ran through your mind at a mile a minute, what was going to happen next? You asked yourself afraid of the answer. Kyle stared down at you for a few moments before turning around and leaving the small apartment. He slammed the door behind him and you swore you saw the pictures that hung on the wall shake from the force.
You pushed yourself off the floor and made your way to the bathroom where you ran a washcloth under the sink. You let the warm water soak into it until it was fully submerged in water, ringing it out you folded it up and slowly placed it on your face. Tears no longer fell from your eyes as you pulled out a blanket from the hall closet and laid down on the couch. With the warm compress still placed against your cheek, you watched a movie until you heard the familiar sound of a key being put into the lock of the door. Your blood ran cold as you knew who was on the other side of the door, Kyle. You were scared that he was coming back to possibly finish you off or cause you more pain but boy were you wrong.
As he stepped inside the two bedroom apartment, he kicked his shoes off next to the door. He smiled at you as he walked over the to the side of the couch. Kneeling down so he was eye level with you, you shifted your eyes to the floor. "Babe" he spoke softly, your eyes momentarily flicked up to meet his, sadness swirled around in his Irises. "I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me" he spoke in a sweet voice. You felt a sense of forgiveness wash over you. "It's okay, just please don't ever hit me again" you said. He nodded and planted a sweet kiss on your lips. "So what are we watching?" He asked as he moved the blanket up so he could cuddle you. "I'm not really sure" you responded "I kinda just put on something random."
You felt safe in his arms, even though he had hit you. But you forgave him, and you kept forgiving him for all the abuse and emotional pain that he caused you. Every single hit and tear, every mean comment he ever made towards you, you forgave him. Because you loved him or at least you thought you did. You thought that you were as good as he told you you were. You thought you were accepting the love you deserved but in reality you accepting Kyle's self hatred. He hated himself enough to bring you down with him, he would never tell you this but he did love you. He did.
A soft knock at the door broke you away from your thoughts. You lifted your head to see none other than Devin. He slowly closed the door behind himself and walked towards you. He didn't look mad he didn't look sad hell his face was expressionless. He climbed up on the bunk and laid next to you on his stomach. "I'm sorry" you spoke in a low voice not being able to look at him.
"Hey" he said, he gently grabbed your chin forcing you to look at him. "There's no need for sorry, I should of waited until you were comfortable enough not until I was" he said. You could hear the sadness in his voice which just made you feel worse. You both laid there in silence for a while, neither of you wanted to break the silence. After a while though Ricky came in and told ghost it was time to get up and get ready for the show. He looked over at you and sighed, "I gotta get up now" he said and pulled himself off the bunk. You moved to the edge and watched him go into the bathroom and shut the door.
You got up and decided you wanted to leave the dark atmosphere of the bunk room and go into the lounge where everyone else was. Vinny greeted you upon opens the door, you smiled at him and sat down next to him. He was putting black paint of his arms and around his eyes. "So did you and ghost work everything out?" He asked. You slowly nodded and watched him slap on some paint. After a while ghost came out of the bunk room and you saw that he had his Michel Myers mask and jumpsuit on. The rest of the boys were ready to go and you all headed outside to help the crew set up the stage for tonight's show. You sat back in the green room and wired for the boys to let you know they were about to go on.
You took the alone time to really evaluate your life. "I need to go of the past" you told yourself, you needed to let go of Kyle and all the negative things he told you. You needed to let go of those negative thoughts that constantly told you that you can't do something. You needed to start living in the present not in the past. You needed to let ghost in, as if he had heard you, the door swung open and in stepped ghost. He smiled at you, "hey we're about to go on" he said. "Do you have a minute to talk?" You asked. He looked down at his phone and nodded "yeah but only three" he said sitting down next to you. "I just wanted to tell you that I'm ready to let you in" you said.
His eyes lit up like sparks, a grin spread across his pale lips. "Really?" He asked, you nodded. You both stared at each other for a few moments before a warm sensation hit your lips. Ghost was kissing you, and you weren't about to pull away. You closed your eyes and enjoyed the sweet feeling of his lips pressed to yours. After a few long moments he pulled away and rested his forehead against your own. He opened his eyes and smiled once more. "Come on" he said and took you head, leading out to back stage.
You were finally free.
