GHOST'S POV
I tossed and turned on the uncomfortable couch that sat in the lounge. Laying on my back I stared up the ceiling. "Yet another restless night" I whispered to myself. Suddenly I heard shuffling around coming from then bunk rooms. It's probably just one of the guys getting up to go to the bathroom or something I thought to myself closing my eyes. As I laid there I head the faint sound of my name being called. Cracking my eyes open I saw the silhouette of (y/n) looming over me. "What?" I whispered back to her. "Come back to your bunk" she said, I gave her a puzzled look though I don't think she saw it.
"What? No" I said in a quiet voice. "Please I feel bad that you have to lay here on an uncomfortable couch while I get a semi comfortable bunk" she explained. I laid there for a moment and closed my eyes, it would be nice to have my bunk back. "Okay" I said, pushing myself off the couch and following (y/n) into the bunk room. I climbed in and pushed my body up against the wall so (y/n) would have enough room. I felt her climb in and snuggle up under the covers.
"Goodnight" I said as I drifted off into sleep once again. When I awoke the bunk was empty, I figured that (y/n) had gone to the bathroom or gone to get breakfast. I didn't bother getting up though as I was still tired and just really didn't feel like getting up. I laid in my bunk for a while until I finally decided that it was time to get my lazy ass up. As I climbed down I took note that no one else was in their bunks. Where the hell was everyone?
I opened the door to the bunk room and saw that everyone was up. "Hey guys" I said stretching out my tired body. They greeted me in return and I left to get some breakfast. I saw that we were parked at the venue, which was nice because I wouldn't have to walk too far to get something to eat. I changed my clothes and put my hair up in space buns. Putting on light makeup I left to find (y/n). I found sitting on the floor by the couch doing something on her phone. She look beautiful, her disheveled hair falling across her porcelain face. Her blue eyes glistening in the dim light of her phone.
"Hey" I said, trying to get her attention. She looked over at me and smiled, "hey" she greeted back "what's up?" "Do you wanna go out and get some breakfast with me?" I asked her. Her eyes lit up as a gorgeous smile spread across her pale pink lips. "I would love too!" She exclaimed, a little to excitedly.
She was still in her pajamas, which met I had to wait for her to get ready before we could go. I sat in the lounge talking to Vinny and Ryan as I waited. Soon enough (y/n) came out of the bunks. I looked up at and felt my heart skip a beat. She put on some sweatpants, and a loose All Time Low shirt. Her long chestnut was split into two French braids which swayed back and forth by her rib cage. She had a bag with a nightmare before Christmas picture on it slung over her shoulder.
I stood up as she walked over to me, "I'm ready" she said. I slightly towered over her, "okay let's go". I resisted the strong urge to take her pale hand into mine, I thought it best to just keep my hands to myself. We walked around the block until we came across a small diner. "You wanna try it?" I asked turning to (y/n). She nodded and lead the way, we crossed the street and I held the door open for her as we stepped inside.
It was a small cozy looking dinner, a few people sat in booths while others sat at the bar drinking coffee and reading the morning newspaper. We seated yourselves and waited as a kind looking waitress approached us. She smiled as she placed two menus down in front of us. "Good morning, what can I get you two to drink?" She asked. I looked down at the menu for a second to see what kind of drinks they had. "I'll have a coke please" I said, she turned to (y/n) "and what will you have honey?" She asked. "I'll just have water" she said, the waitress nodded and left to get our drinks.
"You know you can whatever you what?" I asked her. She nodded not meeting my gaze, I shrugged it off and flipped through the menu until I found something that looked appealing to me. The waitress came back, took our orders then left once again. The table was surrounded with in an awkward silence. I looked up at (y/n) to see that she was just as zoned out as I was. I tried to make little conversation with her but had little to no avail.
