YOUR POV
Guilt consumed you as you laid next to Kyle, wrapped tightly in his arms. His shallow breathing rang out through your ears as you laid there surrounded by darkness. Your soft brown hair fell in your face but you weren't able to move it. Wiggling out of his grip you grabbed your phone that was now charging on the table beside your old bed. You had a lot of notifications, instagram, Twitter and a few text messages from Devin... He asked how the trip was going and what you were doing. They were sent yesterday at 11:30 pm, you were already sleep.
You texted him back stating that you were sleeping at your moms house, and that it was nice to see your family again. Knots formed in your stomach as you pressed send, it didn't feel good to lie to him but what other choice did you have. You set your phone back down and rolled over so that you were facing Kyle. You snuggled up to him, and sighed in comfort; it was good to be back.

The rustling of sheets woke you up, Kyle's sweet voice rang out through your ears. "Good morning beautiful" he said placing a kiss on your lips. You smiled, his ruffled blonde hair fell in his face a bit as he fixed his dark blue shirt. God he looked so cute, "I really missed having you around" he said. Your stomach did a flip you couldn't stop thinking about what was going to happen when you went back to California. Would Kyle follow you there? Would he let you come back to him when you told Devin the truth? So many questions ran thought your head at once that you didn't hear what Kyle had said to you. "Babe?" He said, you blinked a few times and looked at him, "yeah?" "I said do you want to go out to breakfast?" He repeated his question. You smiled and nodded, "yeah I would really enjoy that" you said and crawled out of bed. The weather was getting colder in Michigan so you decided to put on a coat, jeans, boots and a multicolored infinite scarf. You tied your hair up and placed your glasses on the bridge of your nose and followed Kyle out the door. He grabbed your hand as you walked into the elevator that took you both down into the lobby.
A few people were in the lobby, talking amongst themselves. You walked out the glass doors, the wind blew your hair around slightly as you both walked hand in hand. You moved closer to Kyle who placed his arm around you to pull you closer to him. There was a small dinner about a block away from your apartment building. You were so happy that you were finally back in your home town even though you were leaving tomorrow.
Kyle held the door open for you and you stepped into the warm dinner. A petite woman walked up to you with a smile, "welcome! Table for two?"she asked. Kyle nodded and you were both led to a table near a family of four. You sat down across from Kyle as the waitress set down the menus and walked away to give you a moment to decide on drinks. You flipped through the menu and looked at the breakfast specials. You decided on waffles with strawberries, whipped cream and strawberry syrup. The waitress came back to take your drink orders "for you ma'am?"she asked, your eyes flicked up to meet hers. "I'll have hot chocolate" you responded. She turned to Kyle, "coke" he said. She wrote both orders down and walked away to place them.
"It's been a while since we've come here even when I stilled lived in Michigan" you said. Kyle nodded, "yeah it's nice to have you back" he said. "So, when are you moving back in?" He asked, your heart stopped. You lived with Ghost, hell you're with Devin; you can't just up and leave... or can you?
Just as you were about to respond the waitress came back up to your table and placed the drinks in front of you both. "So, what will it be?" She asked as she grabbed the small notepad that jutted out of the half apron she wore around her waisted. "I'll have waffles" you said and looked back down at your drink. "And I'll have the number 3" Kyle said. "Okay I'll be back shortly with your food" she said and walked away. Kyle looked at you, "So?" He asked again. "Kyle, I don't know if I can. I mean I'm not saying I don't want to because I do but I can't just leave Devin without an explanation. Hell I can't just leave him period." It broke your heart to have to tell him no but you couldn't just leave. You had to have a reasonable excuse to move out and going back to Kyle wasn't one of them.

"God I love this movie" you said you turned the lights off, Kyle sat under a black comforter. You sat next to him and cuddled up next to him, he kissed you on the lips then turned his attention to the movie before you; The Crow. You both watched the two hour long movie in silence, near the end of it though you started to doze off, the last thing you saw was a crow flying off of a tombstone. "Come on baby" a soft voice spoke in your ear, you moaned keeping your eyes closed. "Come one (y/n) let's go to bed" Kyle said shaking you lightly. "Will you carry me?" You asked in a sleepy voice, you heard a light chuckle. "Yeah" He said and picked you up bridal style; his strong arms gently lifted you off the couch.
