Chapter 20

You and Erik woke up to the unnerving sound of Raoul's screams of anger. You and Erik go to the surface as quick as possible.

"Whats going on?" We yelled. We saw Christine laying on the floor crying.

"What did you do to her?" I screamed.

"Nothing." Raoul shot Christine a glare.

"Yes, I am fine." She gave a weak smile. Erik touched Raoul's shoulder and backed away.

"You hit her!" He got angry.

"How'd you know?" He asked.

"Second vision." Erik said.

"Yea right, that is unrealistic." He chuckles.

"Christine, you deserve better." You choke out.

"I know." She hung her head. You took a gun off the table and shot Raoul right in the chest.

"What did you just do!" Christine squealed.

"I killed him." You say bluntly.

"Your no better than Erik!" She screamed.

"Christine it was for the best." Erik said softly.

"He was probably going to hit you more in the future." You say looking at Raouls dead body.

"What did I ever do to him." Christine sobbed.

"It's just the way men are Christine, they are not always the most pleasant to be around." Erik said.

"Well then you are no better!" Christine grabbed the gun and pointed it at Erik.

"Christine, put the gun down. How could you ever shoot your angel of music?" You say softly.

"You killed my husband, so why don't I kill yours and we will call it fair." Christine brought the gun back up and shot a bullet. Time seemed to slow as you pushed Erik and your out of then way. The bullet plunged into the mirror behind us. Glass was every where as you ran over to Erik.

"Are you okay?" You ask.

"I am fine my love." Erik said as he got up and winced. You looked to his hand, it had shards of glass ingraved in his skin. You slowly start taking the shards out as Erik winces.

"One more piece." You coo.  You got all of the shards out but blood oozed from his hand. You ripped off a piece of your  dress and tied it around his hand.

"I know you can't see it, but I have a smile as wide as a mile." You say.  You  looked behind you and Christine was gone.

"Y/N, you don't know how much I long to see again." Erik said as he grabbed your hand.

"I don't know how to give you your sight back." You say.

"I know you can't, no body can." He hung his head low.

You grabbed his hands and softly stated "But I will always be there for you." You  say.

"Where did Christine go, I can't feel her presence." Erik says walking around the room.

"I don't know, she could be doing something to try to kill you." You say.

"You know you didn't have to kill Raoul." Erik said sternly.

"I know." You voice became a wisper.

"Are you afaid of me love, please tell the truth." He said.

"No, I am madly in love with you, why would I ever be scared of you." Your voice returns to normal.

"Well your voice lowered when I said you didn't have to kill Raoul." He looked at me.

"I.... I didn't mean to, I didn't want to hurt you in anyway." You said sobbing.

"Venez ici." He said calmly.
Translate:Come here

You start to walk over to your fiance. He  pulled you into an embrace.

"Don't cry my dear, it will be alright. I know you would never want to hurt me, I don't know what I was thinking say that you were araid of me." He cooed. We just stood there in a tight embrace as he said comforting words to make you feel better
