Chapter 14

Aphmau's P.O.V

I'm so dead! I thought. But no turning back now! 

As I was about to start, I was called back backstage. "Ugh, I'll be right back!" I said into the mic, that was clipped onto the neck of my dress. I rolled my eyes running backstage, leaving the mic on. "What?" I asked to no one in particular, but kinda everyone back there expect Jin.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!?" Mom and Dad yelled at me. I smiled and held in a small chuckle at their stupidity.

"Ya know, spicing up this boring old speech!" I rolled my eyes again as I was given another copy. I did a hand gesture towards Jin, as if to tell him that my mic us on. He nodded, biting his bottom lip to stop himself from laughing.

"Um, no. No, you are not!" Dad exclaimed. I could tell he was angry which made me smirk a bit. 

"Yes I am! Teenagers and kids don't want to have to listen to however long of just politics and stuff! We want to know what is going to improve our lives! Not just boring old stuff that you prepared, because you know what, that means I'm not ready to rule! I don't need anyone to do anything for me, fyi, and that it why I'm going to say my own speech! Like or lump it, cause it's happening! Now if you'll excuse me, I've got lives to change! And not just theirs!" I smirked. 

I sashayed back onto the stage and smiled, giggling lightly. "Welp, I hope you enjoyed that little... Um..., Well I'm not sure what to call it! Anyways, I'm here to talk to you all. Not as some royal snobby girl, but as me! Aphmau!" I smiled towards the crowd of people. I glanced back at my parents, they were fuming.

"Anyways, this may be the last time you hear from me because my parents are probably gonna kill me after this but anyways...!" I said in one breath. "Anyways. here we go:" I ripped up the original and threw the peices out to the audience and began my speech.

"Everyone's tired of the same-old-same-old speeches where we're promised thing that we're not gonna get, right? Well, that stops now. From now on we're individual people! We're not controled by adults anymore!

"Everybody deserves a chance to have their own happily ever afters, so why can't we? Because there will always be someone to hold us back! And that stops now! I'm putting my foot down and ending this. I'm going to be writing my own destiny as well as the rest of you!

"Everyone deserves the chance to live how they want to live! So thats why we're going to be writing our own chapters in our lives! Adults can't control our whole lives! 

"Now, remember, follow you're own rules and do what makes you happy! Ignore all the peer pressure, ignore what others say, its your life, not theirs!" I smiled and bowed to the audiance

"Thanks for listening! Now, STAGE DIVE!" And with that, I did a stage dive to be caught by all the friends that I had met.

What a wonderful start to a hetic day!
