Chapter 5: Desperate??

( Jay's P.O.V. )

I wake up in Promise's house. Ever since that thing my mama and I moved here with Promise. My mama was scared that my dad might come back so she asked Mrs. Kelly could we stay here. But they do have the biggest house in the neighborhood. I walk downstairs and my mama watching t.v. like normal. Hey honey. mama said smiling. Hey ma. I said. You ok Jay? She asked. Yea. But can i go to my friend's house tonight we gotta study? i asked. Yea. Mama said. Thanks. I said smiling

I go take a shower and stuff. I throw on some red straight legs, a white shirt, and my jordan 3 red fires, with a Miami beanie. I walk out the house and go for a walk. I pull out my weed and start smoking. I start having flashbacks of what happened to me last week. I don't know what happened to France and Promise. But they were busted. When i found out my dad hit them too, i got like i felt like i was in hell.

( Promise's P.O.V. )

I wake up and Shawn sitting on my beanbag knocked out, i laughed a little. I walked out the room and took a shower. I got out and brushed my teeth and did what i needed to do. I make my hair curly, put on a gray beanie, some black tight shorts, and a diet coke shirt.

I turn around and Shawn's standing there. Where you going little girl? Shawn asked. No where, just to the gas station to get me something to eat. I said grabbing my wallet. Wanna buy me something? Shawn asked. Nah. But i can. What you want? I asked. An Arizona tea and a pack of gum and a bag of doritos. Shawn said. Iight. I said walking out.

I walk out the house and walk to the gas station. I buy what i want to and Shawn's stuff.

I walk out and run home, the world dangerous now. I go inside the house and go to my room. Shawn's laying on my bed and sleep. I throw the bag of chips at him to make him wake up. WHAT NIGGA!? he shouted, looking up. Oh my bad, don't do that doe. Shawn said. Oh i wanted you to wake up. I said. Really? Shawn said. I love you too. I said jumping onto my bed. I love you Promise. Shawn said holding me.

I pick up my brush and brush my hair, then my comb to get the curls out. I put my hair into a pony tail. Good thing my hair is flat ironed, if not i would be in an afro.

( Deja's P.O.V. )

I have been hanging with the boy my mama wanted me dating. His name is Tracy. He cool, he better than other boys i dated. I like him a little bit since i only met him 2 weeks ago. We walk to Promise's house. We ring the doorbell, and Jay's mama answers the door, which confused me a lot. I told her i knew Promise and she let me in and told me they were upstairs.

I knock on her door. Come in. Promise said. I walk in and give her a hug. Hey Promise! I said. Hey Deja. Where you been? Promise asked. Hanging with him. This Tracy. Hey i'm Promise. Promise said smiling. I'm Shawn! Shawn said. Are ya'll going to Khalil party? I asked. What party? Promise asked. The one tonight. I said. Oh yea. Promise said looking her closet for an outfit.

Just to let you know it's a strip type. I said. Really?! Promise said. Yea. With twerking, sex, stripping, and getting high. They're's gone to be a pool too. I said. I ain't missing that. Shawn said. ( Promise's P.O.V. )

Shawn starts kissing my neck and kissing my bottom lip. I kissed him back. Then he pulled away and smiled i smiled back, and pushed him lightly from me. Oooooo Promise something going on? Deja asked. I blushed. OH MY GOD YOU LIKE HIM!!! Deja shouted. I sat on my bed and put the pillow to my face. Tracy bae and Shawn can ya'll get out?

Sure. Tracy said smiling. Whatever. Shawn said. They walked out the room, closing the door. Do you like Shawn? Deja asked. My whole face went red. Damn girl your face, so you like him. Are ya'll dating? Deja asked. No. I signed. I ask him then. Deja said. The boy is suppose to do that. Really Promise. I would ask him before some other girl comes and takes him away from you.

Shawn comes back in. I fall onto my bed. Shawn comes and gets on top of me. I kiss him, and he kisses back. Then we pull away and he turns off of me. Then someone enters the house. I go downstairs and it was Jay. JAY!!! I said giving him a hug. Hey Promise. Jay said smiling.

I'ma need to talk to you later iight Jay. I said. Nah just talk to me now. Jay said. No later. I say kissing his cheek. Jay goes up to his room, and i go to my room.
