Chapter Eleven

Riker's POV

Pregnant... pregnant? Did he hear her right? He let it sink in for a minute, then the anger began rumbling in his stomach.

"Rydel, your pregnant?" He asked her, his anger slowly rising.

She nodded her head, tears streaming down her face.

"Don't be mad Riker" she said.

"Don't be mad? Rydel how can I not be mad! He r-"

"Don't say it" she cut him off. "Please don't say it"

He ran his fingers through his hair as he stood up and walked to the other side of her room. His baby sister was pregnant, with her kidnapper's baby. Rydel would be a mother.

When he finally felt like he calmed down enough, he walked to her side and wrapped his arms around her. She hugged him back.

"I'm so sorry Delly" he whispered to her, "This is all my fault"

They sat there for a few minutes until there was a knock at the door.

"Are you two coming for breakfast or not?" It was Rocky. He had to tell him.

"We'll be right down" he called back to him. He heard footsteps and knew that Rocky had returned back downstairs.

"Let me tell him" he turned back to his sister.

"No Riker" she sighed, rubbing her puffy eyes.

"But Rydel, I need to talk to someone about this. The family needs to know. Your pregnant. We need to be able to help you"

She looked up at him, her eyes wide. She looked so lost.

"Okay" she finally said, "You can tell Rocky, but that's it. I want to be the one to tell everyone else, when its time. Nows not the time."

He smiled at her.

"Thanks Delly" he said. She smiled at him.

"Are you ready to go down for breakfast?" He asked her.

"I'm not really hungry" she said. "I'm just gonna lay here and read I think"

He sighed. He knew she needed food, but he couldn't push her. He leaned down and kissed her forehead.

"I love you Delly" he said, standing up and walking to the door.

As he closed it behind him, he heard her whisper "I love you too"
