~Mitch POV~

I wake up to the midnight chichi bells. Jerome is already up, sitting in bed with his hand on my chest. I don't think he knows I'm awake yet, so I quickly grab his hand. He looks at me and smiles. We get out of bed, get dressed and head to Big Oak. Adam, Ty, Nooch, Logdotzip, Seto, and Tyler are there.

"Where is Ian!?" I say as he shows up with another guest, Lancey. He introduces Lancey to Jerome. They shake hands and we head out.

With Jerome and I in the lead, we sprint down the long hallway. Everyone is still on their feet when we get out. It's almost sunrise. Perfect timing.

"Alright Team, we have a little time to eat and rest before heading out again. Remember, running is a key warmth if your cold. Stay hydrated." Adam says.

"Yesh daddy!" I say just to tease him. It's true, he is like a dad. A very irresponsible dad. Adam playfully punches my shoulder. We laugh, eat and head out again. By noon, we are 3 or 4 biomes away from the castle and Adam is carrying sleeping Ty on his back. We won't move again today, instead make a little treehouse. We had a pretty good trip today. No one got sick or hurt today. That won't be for long though. Jerome told me his "Bacca Sences" were tingling today. He can tell something either good or bad Is coming. Hopefully, it's good.

The next day

----------------

I wake up with Jerome by my side, like very morning, but something is up. He isn't wearing his suit. Instead he is seeing leather armor. I see Adam come in with Jerome's clothes. He must have hand washed them. I sit up, which makes Adam scream. He wakes everyone else up.

"Anyway, it's time to go. Lets erase our tracks. All of them. Not a thing left." I say, clapping my hands. I start breaking wood with Adam and Nooch. Everyone gets up and lumberjacks some trees around ours. Everyone but Jerome.

"Biggumms? Whats going on?" I say, sitting next to him. He looks up at me, he looks very sick. I help him to his feet, and he can barely walk.

"I-I-I'm sorry. I ate the berries." He says, near vomiting. I dig a deep hole and tell him to throw up in it, and he does. It's the most disgusting thing I've ever heard. When he's done I make him wash his mouth out and spit it into the hole. Then I cover it up. It may stink, but you can barely notice we were here.

Carrying Jerome on my back, we head out. We are slower than yesterday, but still make good enough progress. I hope Jerome's sickness doesn't last long.
