Chapter 7

~Jerome POV~

I can't believe I ate those berries. Mitch specifically told me not to. But I was so hungry! I just couldn't help it.

I woke up this morning next to a cactus. Everyone is sleeping on the ground. I sit up. It's almost morning. Only Ian is up. I wave at him and he waves back at me. I crawl over to him. We haven't talked for awhile because I have been busy with Mitch and he's been busy with Lancey. I don't think they're dating, just really good friends.

"Sup Ian?"

"Nothing much. Just can't sleep."

"Me neither." I say, yawning.

"We should wake everyone up. It's almost morning." He says crawling to Lancey and waking him up. I go to Mitch and wake him up. Within 3 minutes, we have everyone up.

"You better biggumms?" Mitch asks me, tilting his head.

"Yea. I guess in okay. Just a little nauseous."

He nods his head as we head to the little pond, hand in hand. I look at him and pick him up. Then, I throw him into the water.

SPLASH!

Everyone laughs. Adam pushes Ty in the water and then we all jump in. Mitch splashes me and I splash back.

"CHICKEN FIGHT!" Someone yells. Mitch hops on my shoulders. First we fight Ian and Lancey. Then then everyone else but Adam and Ty...

~Mitch POV~

We get demolished. Mostly because Adam is taller and stronger than Jerome. It's not like we lose right away.

When we get out we out our clothes back on. Don't worry, we weren't naked. We were wearing later pants.

Anyway we get out if the lake and head on our way. Then, an interesting thing happened.

We ran into a battle tower.

"HOLY FUDGE!" Ian screams. We go mining until we have iron armor and stone swords for everyone. It takes a few days, but we do it.

"Battle tower time." I murmur to myself.
