Father's coming

Bella's POV

I look up at the ceiling of my bedroom ignoring the sounds coming from my T.V the covers were off of my body as I lie in my bed my alarm clock started to beep signalling I should wake up not like I was up all night or anything lets just say after getting a ride home from my study session at Dawn's I've been studying on my own sadly it wasn't as fun as it was with Dawn. Studying alone it was quiet and my eyes were always glued on pages and words but I never got much done while studying with her it was full of laughs and knowing it each other and we got stuff done together.

But today was Friday and I had to go to school for this test that felt more like a exam or job interview I got off my queen sized bed as I stripped down to just my bra, underwear and socks I went into my walk in closet grabbing some black jeans and a moonlight blue blouse I put on my clothes grabbing some black knee high boots along with two bracelets, pink lip gloss, black eyeliner, mascara and foundation I did my makeup as I put my hair in a ponytail making sure I don't have any makeup in my hair I let my hair down as I brush it completely walking out of my room and down the stairs to the kitchen.

There was one out of three of my chefs making some eggs and French toast I look over at the dining room before walking towards it and sitting in a empty chair my mother had her hair up tightly and her cheekbones sharp as she sipped her black coffee and continue to read her book planning on finishing it before her next book club meeting she made to make some friends around here she's been doing it ever since father left for her work and even she didn't know when he will be back, my mother looked up from her book and smiled at me as my butler went and served me my breakfast before taking another sip of coffee and going back to reading her book.

After breakfast my butler drove me to school in complete silence besides telling me it was a big day for the test. My butler got out of the car taking me out onto the sidewalk slowly I grinned at him before walking off to school it was loud since it was full of students chatting and others drinking coffee trying to stay awake for the "important test" some students even lined up to the classroom were the test was being held it was odd cause since it was Friday it felt crowded and I notice students I didn't even realized attended here. I sigh as I walk to the abandon class room slipping my thin body through the door. I needed to review the questions and answers and possibly read more into this book for the test.

The test combined most of the classes here such as. Health, History, Science, Math, Art, Music, English, Dance, Drama and French it was just to test your smarts and see if you are meant to be here luckily freshman don't need to take it since there learning all of this now.

A noticeable French accent filled the silent abandon class room as I look up and see the green and brown French girl. I never really talked her but I seen her around and she was my science partner once or twice so we weren't tight.

Bella: Yeah I don't wanna fail my mother wouldn't like it.

Mavis: Zy zother wouldn't zare zas long zas zi get za B- zi'm Bien.

Bella: Well your of course gonna get a A+ in French cause you are French.

Mavis chuckled walking towards me and rested her left elbow on a desk.

Mavis: Oui, but just remember "Ca va Bien" "Chat" "A" and "Oui".

Bella: You sure?.

Mavis: Zo zi look zike someone zho zied to 'ou?.

Bella: No?.

Mavis: Oui zalso your Dawn's zriend.

Bella: Ok merci!.

I wrote down what I needed to remember from Mavis on a sticky note with my soon to run out blue pen. Mavis sat down at a desk and pulled out a binder, book and a pencil and began reviewing + studying, I did the same as we both ignored each others presences.

Hours passed of studying till the principal called a bunch of kids down to the class I being one of them I grab my things and walk out the abandon classroom to my assigned class students already sitting down and some already starting I took a seat by the back as a test was already on the desk waiting for me I grab a pen and wrote down my name beginning to start reading the first question that was a Health question.

I looked up from my sheet as I finished two pages so far I looked around seeing students working hard sitting on the floor sitting on desks some leaning against the classroom walls the teacher was in the room at her desk doing some work and taking glances at the class to make sure there doing there work I was stuck in a class with random older and younger kids along with Gracie and oh god Jesse. Jesse was sitting at a desk across from me as Gracie was sitting on the ground with her back against a wall corner writing down a answer, I look back down flipping my test to the next side that was about more French, Dance and Gym I wrote down answer as it been two hours so far.

"Two more hours to go" I said in my head as I sighed and solved another French question.

I left the classroom as students who went last for test flooded the halls as cheering and talking began to start causing it to go loud like it did this morning the bell rang and I left towards the limo as I wave goodbye to Piper and oddly Mavis who just smirked.

Limo driver: Ms. Yorkshire there's some news your mother wants to tell you when you get home.

Bella: Ok thank you.

The limo driver shut the door and hurried towards the driver seat starting the vehicle and driving out the school parking lot.

"I wonder what my mother wants to tell me" I said in my head along with other thoughts as I look out the window with my bag on the ground and arms wrapping around my body.

Mother: Sweetheart dear welcome home.

My mother ran up to me in her ten inch heels planting kisses on my cheeks with her big red lips.

Bella: Yes mother I'm home can you tell me what you need to tell me?.

Mother: Oh yes well Bella darling your father is coming home for the week!.

Bella: Wait what seriously.

I was shocked and happy I haven't seen him in years and here he will be coming for a whole week!.

Mother: Yes he missed us a lot and wanted to see us together as a family again.

Bella: When!.

Mother: His plane won't be landing till tomorrow at 4:00PM.

Bella: Oh my god I can't wait!.

Mother: Neither can I dear.
