LaurenI was rendered absolutely speechless. I was having a right proper conversation with George Harrison. Pinch me.
"Oh this is fab!" I said excitedly, feeling myself become jumpy with excitement, my hands shaking.
"A personal fan eh, Georgie. We don't come by many of you sweetheart- well, at least only in Liddypool." John drawled in a raspy voice. Hearing them speak was like a dream. Once again, I repeat, pinch me.
I blushed furiously, my body flushing under their attention.
"Just my luck right?" I giggled.
Paul and Ringo got up and stood next to John with their arms crossed over their chests tightly. Paul examined me with a special interest, and I tried to advert my gaze away from the cheeky Beatle.
"George, she's adorable." Paul winked at me flirtatiously, his lush lips pulling together in a smirk.
I looked down at the floor, despite my wide grin splayed across my face.
"Oh I'm just fun sized." I said with a giggle, and returned my gaze back up at the Fab Four.
"Just like yer rings!" John playfully shoved Ringo.
Ringo bashfully blushed and harrumphed.
" 'Ey Ringo, there's nothin' wrong with bein' short. I deffo know 'da feelin' '." I smiled at him.
Ringo shot me a brilliant smile.
"This is the gang. Say, who do ye think is the handsomest?" John asked me.
Oh man- damn you John for putting me into this arse of a spot. They were all so cute but George... He had the most defined features like his structured cheek bones and his dark brown eyes, tall, and luscious brown hair. And he had this thing about him that attracted me to him more than the rest.
"I can't decide. That would be definitely unfair." I said.
"Ooh I get it." Paul winked at me.
"Just spill." John challenged me.
"George." I blurted out, biting down on my tongue
My hand flew up to my mouth instinctively. I couldn't see George's reaction because he was standing next to me.
"Ohhhh Georgie! Ye 'ave a secret admirer." John wiggled his eyebrows.
I blushed madly, adverting my gaze from the Liverpudlian boy.
"Oh brother." Rings said under his breath and I looked at John with a playfully accusatory glare.
"You put me on the spot John!" I said, crossing my arms like a child.
John nudged me, lifting his brows and flickering his gaze to George then back to me.
"Georgie here needs a little birdie to keep 'im com'any, right Georgie?" John teased him brutally and I laughed.
"Christ, are you the expert matchmaker from this side of the Mersey?" I asked jokingly, and the boys hooted with laughter at the jab at John. He was zany- I liked that. But too neurotic for my taste.
"Oh lay off." George whined, itching to get his band mates off his case about dating.
"Come 'Ed boys we have to go now." Their manager, I assumed. walked in and said.
"Yeh alright. Lauren, dearie would ye like to accompany us to the Cavern?" John bowed.
"I'd gladly accept. That was my original destination." I smiled.
