"Way to go Georgie!" John cheered on George with a clap to his back, earning a fierce blush from George that reached the tips of his ears.
George blushed, but Lauren kissed him on the cheek.
"My hero." Lauren giggled.
"Ye deserve an award for yer bravery!" Paul chimed in, walking into the room.
"Why not a celebratory drink at the cavern eh?" Lauren suggested.
The boys and George shouted in agreement.
"Ok get the hell out and I'll get into some decent clothes." Lauren laughed.
George got up and left with the boys.
Lauren picked out a simple black dress with some red heels. She brushed her hair back and put her side bangs back. She touched up her makeup and then walked out.
"Ready boys?" Lauren said.
They turned around and their jaws dropped to the floor.
"Goddamn Lau." John wiggled his eyebrows.
George walked up to Lauren and slipped his arm around her waist.
"Sorry mates- this lovely bird is all mine." George boasted.
Lauren blushed.
"Let's go get drinks already!" John said.
They all walked out into the cold and chilly Liverpool air.
"Was Tony always like that to ye?" George broke the silence.
Lauren sighed.
"No, actually. I told him today that I wanted to break up with him but he got really mad. He went to the cavern all day and came home drunk." She said, shivering from the recent memory.
"What a monster." Ringo said.
"No kidding. I thought I loved him before- but I met George and my world was turned upside down." Lauren said, lovingly kissing George.
"Yer such a cute couple!" John gushed, like a girl.
"Ye sound like a girl John." George snickered.
"My point exactly."
Paul just walked silently, just keeping to himself. He wished he had a bird like Lauren. Beautiful, strong, smart and sweet as candy. He had feelings for Lauren but he never showed them- he's too shy to be himself around her.
They all walked into the cavern and sat at the bar.
"5 bevvys please!" John said.
They all got passed a bevvy and took a large swig.
"To The Beatles!" Lauren raised her glass.
"To the Beatles!" They all chorused.
Paul POV///
Lauren drank 1 and a half beers and she was 3 sheets to the wind.
"Lau- take it easy with the bevvys." I warned her.
She narrowed her eyes at me then laughed.
"Nahhhh I'm havin' some fun 'ere!" She giggled.
Lauren sat on his lap, her arms around his neck. They were perfect for each other- it made me so jealous.
I haven't found the perfect bird yet, but I will soon.
" 'ey why ya so down macca? Ain't ya 'avin fun?" John slurred a bit.
I sighed and smiled at him.
"Yeh I am but just a little tired myself." I lied.
John laughed.
"Ya little prick, ye like Lau don't ya?" He laughed.
My eyes widened.
"How d'ya know?" I asked, nervously, tugging at my shirt collar.
John laughed.
"Ya 'ave this special look on yer face and in yer eyes when ye see 'er or when yer thinkin' 'bout 'er." John said.
I scratched the back of my head.
"Uh oh um gear." I said awkwardly.
"Just drink up macca. Tomorrow's our only day off out of the whole month." John hit me in the back.
I laughed awkwardly.
"Alright." I took a large swig from my bevvy and sighed.
