Third Person POV///
George looked directly at Lauren in the front row. She stood out from the rest of the others birds to George. There was something about her that made him a little crazy. Lauren smiled broadly at him and George blushed.
"Here's are little socially awkward and short mate, Ringo singing Boys!" John yelled.
A few people in the crowd laughed and a few scowled. Some of their fans from Hamburg missed Pete, but Ringo was brilliant- and they hated to admit that.
George mindlessly played his guitar to the song, from heart. He knew the song too well. His mind was wandering though. All he could think about was Lauren. She was as sweet as candy, and had the brightest smile. George looked at Lauren have a good time dancing to Ringo's hoarse voice- hardly ever glancing his way.
George was trying to get her attention for the next song, Love Me Do. It was a trio song between John, George, and Paul. They had finished boys and it was George's turn to introduce the next song. Nervously, George stumbled to the microphone and cleared his throat.
" 'ope yer enjoyin' the performance so far. The next song we'd like to sing is, Love Me Do. And I'm dedicatin' to a little birdy who told me it was 'er favorite song this mornin'." He said.
George looked directly at Lauren and she was blushing like mad. George winked at her and sang along with Paul and John.
Lauren POV/////
I gasped. George dedicated the song to ME. I couldn't wipe the bright smile off of my face. While George sang Love Me Do, he never broke our gaze. His voice was clear as day to me, it was beautiful music to my ears.
"There ye are." Someone grabbed my arm and spun me around.
"Oi! Tony!" I smiled.
"I wanted to apologize for this mornin'. I know how much ye wanted to see them." Tony said.
I pecked him on the lips to forgive him but something didn't feel right.
"It's alright honey."
He slipped his arms around my waist and I looked back up at George. He was looking the other way, scowling. I frowned a little bit. Why is he scowling? Was it because of .... Tony? I shook that thought off. Of course not! I just met the lad! He can't possibly like me! Well maybe as a friend.
George never looked my way for the rest of the performance, which made me a little upset. Their performance ended and they rushed backstage.
"Would ye like to meet them Tony? I ran into one today and he's a real nice fella." I asked Tony.
"Ok, alright. They're not half as bad as I thought." Tony said, chuckling.
We walked hand in hand backstage and I saw George roughy putting away his guitar.
"Hey George! Ye guys were great! Way better in person than on the radio!" I smiled.
He put on a fake smile, but his eyes were cold.
"Haha I'm glad ya enjoyed it, love. Who's this?" George said through clenched teeth.
I blinked. What the hell was his problem?
"This is me boyfriend, Tony. Tony, this is George." I introduced them both.
Tony shook George's hand.
"I would love to stay and chat, but I 'ave to leave." George snapped.
I raised my eyebrows. Man he's in a fowl mood.
"Ok um Tony I'll meetcha outside. I have to go powder my nose." I lied.
Tony smiled at me and walked out.
"What the hell is yer problem George?!" I screeched.
George rubbed his temples.
"Ah I'm sorry Lau. I go- got hit in the balls with me guitar. I was holding it really awkwardly today." George said.
I cooled down.
"Oh ye just were really rash towards Tony." I muttered.
I smiled.
"Anyways, I don't have any work tomorrow and I was wonderin' if ye would like to come over tomorrow for tea. If it's not gonna hurt yer manly reputation or anythin'." I teased him.
He blushed a bit.
"Yeh. I'd love to. I don't care 'bout me manliness. As long as I'm not called a queer." George laughed.
I giggled.
"Gear! Here's me number an address." I grabbed a pen and paper from the wall and scribbled down everything.
I signed my name and put a heart below it. I handed it to him.
"And ya autographed it? I should be doin' that." George smiled at me, revealing his fangs.
Oh his smile made me all jumpy!
"Ok vampy, I gotta go." I hugged him and gave him a kiss on the cheek by standing on my tippy toes.
"Stop bein' tall George." I winked at him.
I walked out of there feeling great.
I have a feeling George will be in my life to stay.
