Lauren POV////
"Oh Tony I'm so happy ye came to the concert!" I said excitedly while I hung some of my clothes up.
He snorted.
" 'Real nice fella'. My arse. He looked like he wanted to beat the shit outta me." Tony sneered.
I was taken aback by his behavior.
"Well I uh he um..." I could tell him that I actually stayed to talk to him instead of using the loo....
"Um he twisted his ankle. I bumped into him on the way out." I lied.
Lying felt so foreign in my mouth, I was raised to be the perfect girl.
Tony scowled.
"Back him up but not yer boyfriend." Tony said.
I walked up to Tony and put my arms around his neck.
"Come on Tony." I pouted my lip.
He threw my arms off.
"Not in the mood. I have a business trip Tomorrow to Dublin." Tony snapped.
I stood back, and he stormed out. I sighed. Why did he have to act this way?
I sat on my bed, sifting through some of my old records, than my phone rang. I sat up, and picked it up.
" 'ello?" I said.
" 'Ey Lau it's George." I heard his sweet Liverpudlian voice flood my ears.
"Oi! George! How are ya feelin'?" I asked.
"Great! I was kinda wonderin' if ye would like to come to the park with me? If yer boyfriend would allow it of course." George asked.
I giggled.
"Of course I'll come. I 'ave nothin' better to do anyways." I said.
"Ok! Meet me at the big oak in the middle of the park." He said happily.
"Alright. See ya then George."
"Bye."
"Bye."
I hung up the phone excitedly. If Tony didn't want to do anything, I'll go with George. I grabbed my wallet and stuffed it in the back pocket of my jeans and then ran out with out a word to Tony. I lived right across the street from the park, so that was easy for me.
I saw George sitting under the oak, looking around. I giggled to myself. I'm going to sneak up on him. I went the back way and crept up to the oak tree.
"George...." I whispered.
He looked around suspiciously to see where his name came from.
I jumped out from behind the tree and he yelped.
"Shit!"
I fell on the floor laughing.
"Ya- should've- seen- yer-face!" I managed to say in between my fits of laughter.
He crossed his arms and scowled. I stopped my laughter and sat down next to him.
"Aww George. Don't scowl- it's twistin' up yer face." I cooed.
He looked at me and smiled.
"Christ, yer a never endin' ball of happiness aren't ya." George said, and pinched my cheeks.
I smiled brightly.
"I take pride in makin' people laugh and smile." I said happily.
"And ye do a great job at that."
I leaned my head to rest on his broad shoulder.
A volleyball landed right on my lap and a little kid called out for it. I smiled at George deviously and I pulled him up.
"2 things. One yer frickin' light. And Two, we're gonna go play volleyball." I pulled him over to the net with the kids.
"Do ya mind if we play with ya?" I asked the little boy.
"Sure! Ye serve!" He chirped.
I smiled and underhand served the ball over and the game was going.
"Lau! I don't know how to play!" George feverishly said.
"Just copy them- they know what they're doin'." I smiled.
The kid set the ball and another bumped it over. It was going towards George and he bumped it over. I ran over and hugged him.
"Great job George!" I said excitedly.
