Today I am in search of friends still most people feel it's easy to make friends because they already have them. In high school people judge you on everything; they judge me on the way I look, act, the kind of grades I get, all these things affect whether you make friends or not and if they are good friends. Some people in high school judge me on what TV shows I watch and the movies I watch and I don't understand why because they are constantly changing. Anyway so I have been talking to many people at school like Alyssa, Kayla, Marie, and Claire. We so far all have in common a favorite show of mine *Supernatural* we are all super fans of the show and have watched each episode about a bazillion times. Kayla, Marie, and I also have in common a favorite band *twenty one pilots* we love all the songs, my personal favorite is fairly local.
I loved the feeling of being able to find new friends. I was so happy that we all had something in common. I thought that I found my friend group but Alyssa didn't like most of the people in the group and desided to leave. I was a bit sad cause I thought that we all got along very well but I guess not. After a few days with my new friends Marie and Claire got in a fight about a guy that they both had a crush on. In the end they both left the group and I felt so lonely.
The only person I had left was Kayla, until she had moved away. She had told me that her father had gotten a promotion and that they had to move.
I felt like I would never find the group of friends I wanted. I sadly accepted the fact and walked the halls lonely. I would see some people look at me and feel sad for me as I walked the halls. After a few weeks of feeling sad my best friend Evie tried to make me happy by telling me that there was a new kid at school. She told me that the principal had asked her to take them around the school but she convinced the principal to let me instead.
I agreed to taking the new kid around. I didn't know anything about them cause Evie didn't tell me anything. All she told me was that they were new here and they needed showing around. She didn't tell me if they were a boy or a girl or anything. She told me that I would have to figure it out on my own.
