I wake up still in Eric's arms and smile at him.; he is still fast asleep. I get more comfortable as I nestle my head in closer to him. He shifts a little in the bed but still holds me close to him. I wrap my arms around him and pull him close to me as he does the same. I kiss him on his nose as his eyes flutter open slowly. He passionately kisses me on the lips and I kiss him the same way. We break the kiss to take a small breath and kiss him again. He breaks away and smiles at me as he kisses me on the neck and collar bone. I run my fingers through his chestnut brown hair; the light curls wrap loosely around my fingers. He stops kissing my neck and kisses my cheek. Before it goes further there is a light knock on the door. The door opens and Charley comes in "Sorry to wake you, I just wondered were you went after I fell asleep." She says to us "That's okay Charley, we went in here to sleep on the bed." Eric told her "Oh okay, night." She said as she closed the door and went back to the living room. Soon after that I fell asleep in Eric's arms and he fell asleep soon after me.
Eric wakes me up to get ready for school "morning sunshine" he said waking me up with a kiss. "Morning" I say back to him with a smile on my face. He gets out of the bed and so do I. We walk towards the kitchen and get breakfast. "Morning sleepy heads" Claire says to us as we enter the room "morning" we say back in unison. We sit down beside Claire as she ways Her cereal. Peter walks in the kitchen after Evie "Hey" he says with a tired tone. Evie makes her way to the coffee maker and puts some coffee beans in. "Who wants coffee?" She asks "Everyone" Charley says as we laugh. We all grab a cup and start to wake up a little. We're all quiet cause we're not morning people. "Good morning, wow you brought lot of friends over Evie." Evie's dad says as Evie smiles back at him, teeth and all. He walks over to the coffee maker and pours the last in his cup; since there are six of us there wasn't a lot of coffee left. "Nice suit, is it new?" Evie asks her dad "Thank you, and for a matter of fact it is new." he said back. "Well I'm guessing you aren't morning people are you?" he asks us. "Nope" Peter says as Evie's dad looks at him as if he didn't notice he was their before; and he didn't. "Hello Peter, nice to see you again. I didn't know you moved here." he said as Peter smiled still a little tired. "Well, mom got a promotion here and I knew Evie lived here so ya know we moved." Peter explained as Evie's dad nodded that he understood. "I'm gonna go get ready for school." I said as grabbed Eric's hand and we got up and left the room. I could hear everyone else start to get up and leave, "I'm gonna go get ready too." Evie said as everyone else nodded and left the room. We got dressed and got our backpacks ready for school. Charley and Claire called Claire's sister to drive hem to school, everyone else rode in Peter's car to school.
We got to school and went into first period, I wasn't paying any attention in class because I remembered it was Friday. I also remembered that Eric said wee would go on a date today, I'm so excited. The entire day I wondered where we were gonna go for the date. "So where are we gonna go for our date?" I asked Eric after class was over and when we were in the hallway "Well where do you want to go?" he answered with a smile as we held hands "I don't know; do you go to the movies, or do you want to go somewhere more romantic" I told Eric "It depends on what you want want to do." he told me "Well I don't care you choose; surprise me." I told Eric "Okay, I'll surprise you." he told me with a smile, then he kissed the back of my hand and I blushed and smiled back at him. Then we headed to our next class; I was still thinking about the date Eric would plan. Before we knew it we were at lunch and the day was almost over. "So where are you planning on going for your date tonight?" Peter asks us "We're not sure yet but its gonna be someplace fun." I answer Peter. "Well have fun" he told us as we ate lunch. "I heard theirs a new pizza parlor. You guys should go there for your date." Charley said while shoving a few fries in her mouth. "That sounds like a good idea. What do you think?" I asked Eric as I looked at him with a smile. "That sounds like a perfect plan" Eric tells me with a big smile on his face. We finish lunch and we dump our trays as the bell rings to go to fourth period.
Its now the end of seventh period and I am so excited for the date, I jump out of my seat with excitement and head out the door to my locker. Eric is already by my locker waiting for me. "Hey" he says with a chipper smile. "Hey" I say back as I open my locker and put away a few books. "Ready" he asks "Yeah I'm ready. Lets go" I say closing my locker door and swinging my backpack on my back. He grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers. I look at him and smile as we make our way to Peter's car. "Hey don't mind if we come do ya bro? We won't sit in the same booth as you guys. That way it wont be a double date thing and we wont interrupt your evening." Peter said to Eric "We don't mind." Eric said back opening the car door for me to get in. "We were planning on going on a date to but didn't know where go. when you guys said that you were going to the pizza parlor we desided we would go there cause why not and also that way we didn't spend a lot of money on gas." Evie explained as Peter started the engine of the car. "Well lucky you I guess" I say back as I situate my backpack in the seat. We sit quietly for a while as Peter drives us all there.
We get there and walk inside; there aren't many people inside and the lighting is perfect for a romantic date. "Wow this place looks amazing." I say as Eric nods in agreement. We find a booth and take a seat a waitress walks up soon after. "Welcome to the Pizza Parlor, here's your menus and I'll come back when your ready to order" She said with a smile as she handed us the menus and walked away. I looked at Eric and smiled at him "What toppings would you like?" he asks me "Mushroom and pepperoni, I don't like much else on mine I usually end up picking off the rest." I say as he looks at me with a surprised smile "I do the same thing." he says smiling bigger now. The waitress comes back "Are you ready to order?" she asks as she pulls out a note pad. "Yeah; we'll have a medium pizza mushroom and pepperoni" Eric tells her as she writes it down "Alright and what'll you have to drink with that." she asks us "I'll have a coke, no ice please" I say "I'll have the same" Eric answers as he smiles at me. She writes the rest of the order down on the piece of paper "Okay I'll be right back with your order" she says and walks off. She comes back with two cokes and a smile "Here ya go, your pizza will be ready in a few minutes" she says and sits the drinks down then goes to the next table. We sit there and talk for a while until the pizza came over; "Here's your pizza, enjoy" she said and walked off again "thank you" I said to her before she left. Eric then grabbed a slice and so did I. "This is good" Eric says swallowing a bite "Really good" I say taking another bite. After enjoying the food we sit there with our stomachs full and happy. "Well so far this dates going pretty well" I say to Eric with a smile. "I must agree, this date is nice." Eric agrees with me.
"Ya want to get out'a here and go somewhere else" Eric asks me "Okay" I say to him "well lets go" he says grabbing my hand and leading me out side to a horse and carriage. I put my free hand over my mouth in surprise "Did you do this" I ask Eric as I smiled stupidly. "I planned it; yeah" he says smiling and shrugged. I smiled and hopped in after petting the horse's nose. Eric sat down beside me and and we enjoyed the ride. Eric put his arms around me and held me lose to him as I leaned on his shoulder. We watched the people smile as we passed; we looked at the leaves on the trees that were turning beautiful colors for fall; like bright oranges, golden yellows, reds. We took in all the beauty that nature gave us and we enjoyed each others presence. We were wrapped up in a blanket snuggled up together and I wanted the moment to last forever, just the two of us. I couldn't help but smile when I looked at the sparkle in his eyes. He looked at me and placed a kiss on my slightly cold pink nose, I blushed and smiled brighter than ever. I was so happy and I could tell that he was too, it made me happy knowing that he was happy I was with him.
When the ride was over we were dropped off at his house where we hung out for a bit until Evie and Peter showed up. We were sitting in the living room when we heard the door open and close and we also heard laughter. We looked over at Evie and Peter as we sat on the couch "Fun night?" I ask turning my head away from the TV to see them. "Uh Yeah. You?" Evie says not realizing I was there "Yeah we wen't on a horse and carriage ride." I answered Evie "Whoa a carriage ride. Peter and I just walked around a bit and talked." She said to me "That's cool, go anywhere other than the pizza parlor?" I ask Evie she replied with "No" and then she wen't straight upstairs dragging Peter along with her. I turned my head back to Eric and settled my head back on his shoulder. Eric and I sat on the couch and watched the TV for a while until we headed upstairs to the bedroom. We tiredly got into the covers on the bed, not even getting dressed in pajamas. We lay on the bed and got comfortable Eric holding me closer to him as we slept.
