Chapter 6: Briar's Party

Daring's P.O.V.
I wake up the next morning. Tonight is the party, I need to tell her how I feel, tonight.
I get my self out of bed and once I'm ready, go out into the hall.
I see Dexter walking around. "Hi, Dexter." I say to him.
"Hey, where were you yesterday?" He asked.
"Just seeing a friend." I answered.
Then I realized that I hadn't told him about my secret.
"Dexter, if I told you something, would you promise not to tell anyone??" I ask.
"Yeah, of course." He answered.
So I took him to his room, with permission, and I told him slowly.
"Okay, I know that this shouldn't have happened, but it did so, please, don't, freak out..."
"I won't. At least I won't try."
"Okay. I'm. I'm." I hesitate.
"Tell me Daring. I promise not to tell, really!"
"I'm in love..." I didn't finish because I was too scared.
"What? With who? Tell me." Dexter pushed me.
"Rosabella." I say. I was surprised that he looked not one bit surprised.
He nods, looking at the floor and biting his bottom lip. "To be honest, I kind of, get why you would."
"How come?" I asked, looking at him.
"Well, you know, you two have history in Epic Winter, and the certain things that happened, it makes sense, you know?" He asked.
"Yeah! I'm so glad you understand!" I exclaimed, hugging him. He hugged me back.
When we pulled away, he sighed.
"I have a secret too. I'll tell you, if you promise not to tell." He said.
"Of course. You wouldn't tell anyone my secret, so neither would I!" I say.
"I like- I like, Raven, actually I really like her." He said.
"Really? Is that why you stare at her, and are nervous around her?" I ask.
"Yes. Please, don't tell." He pleaded.
"I promise." I say.
"Me too."
We hug again and I realized how lucky I am to have such a great younger brother.
"I have to go." I say, pulling away from him.
"Okay. Bye!" He says as I start towards the door.
"Bye." I say, then I slipped out of his room and went back to my own room.
"I cannot wait for tonight!" I thought to myself.

Rosabella's P.O.V.
I walk through my walk-in closet, I have to find the right dress for tonight.
I finally find a dress that went down to my knees. It was covered with red roses. It sat a little tight on my hips when I slipped it on. I pared it with rose stockings, rose earrings, and rose heels, I know, all rose things, royally cool?
Once I'm ready I fix up my make up and hair. It takes me a while, but once I'm done, I look spellbinding.
I head out of my room to find my parents. I still have time, so I'll tell them that I'll be gone.
When I find them, my mother gasped.
"Rosabella! You look beautiful, dear!" She exclaimed.
"Thanks mom!" I say.
"I agree, but why are you dressed like this?" My father asked.
"Well, my friend, Briar, is having a party, can I go for a few hours?" I ask.
"Sure dear, just be back before midnight!" She laughed. "Or you'll turn into a pumpkin!"
I laughed. "Oh, mom, that's not my story, but I will!"
"Bye dear. Have fun!" Said my dad.
I say goodbye to my parents, and walk out to the carriage.
On the way there, I think of how Daring will look. Handsome? For sure...

Daring's P.O.V.
Dexter, Darling, and I walk into Briar's party room. The party was in full swing, with Melody Piper as her DJ.
I wave good bye to my siblings and walk around. I see lots of the girls talking.
I keep walking until I see... Oh my grim, Rosabella. She was so beautiful, I feel my heart racing at the sight of her. I walk over to her. "H-h-hey Rosabella." I say.
"H-hi D-daring." She stuttered and blushed.
"You l-look beautiful." I say.
Her eyes light up. "Really? Thanks, you look handsome."
"Thanks, get that a lot."
She giggles. "C'mon handsome, let's go dance!" She said, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the dance floor.
We danced for a while when I realized it was time to tell her.
"Rosabella?" I asked, putting my hand on her shoulder. She stops dancing and looks at me. "Yeah?"
"Can I talk to you? Outside?"
"Of course, lead the way."
I take her outside, where we can't hear the noise of the party.
I turn to face her. I'm so nervous, where do I begin? Okay, remember you're training!!
"Umm, I've realized something after our meeting, I know it shouldn't have happened, but, it did, so..."
I looked at her, she was eager to know, I blushed.
"Rosabella, I-" I stopped, I'm so scared.
"I-I-I.... I love you."
Her eyes widen. "Are you serious??"
"Yes. I'm sorry." I said slowly.
Then, she rapped her arms around me. I hugged her back, but I was surprised.
When she pulled away, she sighed.
"I have something to tell you too."
"Yeah?" I ask, excited.
"I love you too."  She said.
Without thinking, I suddenly pull her in and kiss her. She's stunned at first, but then she kisses back.
When we break apart, I feel so happy.
"Rosabella, I don't want to lose you. I love you."
"I know, I don't want to lose you either."
"Wait, now that we both know how we feel, what now?"
She smiles and shakes her head. "We meet in secret, hide our selfs when we kiss, and never tell anyone, I guess."
I smile. "So you'd kiss me again?"
"Why don't you find out?" She said.
Then, we kissed again.
We hear something and quickly tear apart from each other, it was just a forest animal. We sigh in relief.
"I guess we should go in." She whispers.
I nod and we head in.
***Time Skip***
When it was eleven pm, people start to leave, including Rosabella, my siblings, and me.
When no ones looking, me and Rosabella hug.
"I'll miss you." I whispered to her as we hug.
"Me too."
"Hey, can you meet me back at the tea shop tomorrow? We can do something else this time? If you want?"
"I wouldn't miss seeing you for the world."
We pull a part and she goes into her carriage, it pulls away.
A hand lands on my shoulder and I jump.
"We know you were with Rosabella." Says Dexter.
"Uhhhhh." Is all I can say.
"It's okay, we won't tell." Says Darling.
When our carriage pulled up, we all get in and start to go home.
"I'm so excited to see her." I thought.

Maddie: Wow! What a great party! So romantic!!

Male narrator: Yes it's all great.

Female narrator: But, you must wait now.

Brooke: Awwww :(

Maddie: It's okay...TEA TIME!!!!!
