Chapter 7: The Date

Rosabella's P.O.V.
That night I dream about him. His eyes, his hair, everything the same. Gosh, he was handsome.
He walked over to me and held me in his arms. I never wanted to leave his warm embrace...
I wake up slowly. My dream was still fresh in my mind, I want it to stay that way.
I get out of bed and get myself ready for the day. Once I'm ready, I sit back down on my bed and hext him.

Rosabella: Hey, Daring!

For a little while, I get no answer, but then he does.

Daring: Hey, beautiful! What's up?

Rosabella: How Charming of you 😃 I'm fine, just wondering when we should meet?

Daring: Oh, right, uh, around two or three?

Rosabella: How about around lunch? We could go somewhere and eat!

Daring: Great idea! Why didn't I think of that 😳😃!

Rosabella: I miss you. 😔

Daring: I miss you too, but I have to go. 😔😕

Rosabella: Okay, see you at the tea shop around lunch?

Daring: Yeah, bye.

Rosabella: Bye.

Oh my ever after...he called me beautiful!! I know everyone has but from him....
I sigh in happiness and lay on my bed.
I re-read our conversation over and over again. I can't believe how lucky I am to have a guy like that...

Darings P.O.V.
"Daring, c'mon! It's time for breakfast!" Yells Dexter from outside my room. I sit up with a jolt, I wasn't even dressed yet!!
"Uhh just I few minutes!!" I yell back, struggling to get dressed.
"Okay, but don't blame me if you get in trouble!" I barely hear him.
A few minutes later, I was almost ready. I brushed my fine, blonde hair and ran down to the dinning hall. Everyone including Dexter was seated.
"Daring, where were you?" My father says.
"Just, making sure I was extra charming today." I say nervously.
He sighed. "Just make sure your at the table on time, son."
"Of course father, it won't happen again."
I sit down and everyone starts eating. I really wish I wasn't late....

Rosabella's P.O.V.
I stand at the entrance of the tea shop and wait for Daring. I can't wait until he gets here!
A few minutes later, he does.
"Hey!" I say, excited to see him.
"Hey! Where do you want to eat?" He asked me.
I haven't thought about that yet. "I don't know, how about Happy Eatery After?" I suggest.
"Sure! Why not?" He said. And since it was only about a block away, we walked.
When we got there, it was kind of packed, but, for us, we got a table really soon. Some people asked us what we were doing here together, Daring had said the same answer each time: "We're just here as friends, nothing wrong with that, right?" But I know what it really was.
Once we sat down, we talked mostly about random topics, how the vacation was going, how our parents were doing even. He even told his sister and brother, Dexter and Darling, how he felt about me. Which was totally fine with me...
***Time Skip***
We walk outside the restaurant, it took a while, because everyone wanted to talk to us, but we did.
"Daring?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"Is this a date?"
He waited a few seconds, and answered, "Yes, if you want."
"Of course I do!" I say, looking at him, he looks at me too. I want to kiss him, but we were in public.
"So, where now?" He asked suddenly.
"We could just walk around town, and stop in stores if we want?"
"Okay, let's do that."
So we went walking around town, stopping at the occasional store one of us wanted to go in. I wanted to go into so many clothing stores, but I knew I couldn't. "Some other time." I told myself.
We were walking around for at least an hour when I saw, Apple!!
"Oh no!" I gasp.
"What? What is it?" He says.
"It's Apple! We can't let her see us walking together, even as friends, it's too risky!"
"Okay, I'll wait in this store!" He says quickly, then, before Apple saw him, went into the store, we didn't even know what store it was.
Apple walked over to me. "Hey, Rosabella! Briar threw a great party yesterday, right?"
"Yeah! It was fun! So, what are you doing here?"
"I should ask you the same thing."
"Well, I'm just, walking around town, by myself."
"I wish I could walk with you, but I have a hair appointment, gotta go, charm you later!"
"Charm you later!"
And with that, she ran off and I went into the store Daring went into.
I find him looking at himself in a large mirror on the wall.
"C'mon Daring! Let's go!" I say.
"Aww just a little longer?" He said.
I sighed. "Okay sure."
So a few centuries later, it seemed like, we finally left.
***Time Skip***
An hour or so later, we had to go back to the tea shop, to wait for our carriage's. No one is around, so we hug quickly.
Then, his carriage pulled up. "Bye Rosabella, I'll hext you!"
"Bye, so will I!"
Then, he got in and left.
When mine finally got here, I was starting to think it wasn't coming...
***Time Skip***
I walk back into the castle, with confidence, my mother taught me a long time ago, but today, I didn't need to fake it.
"Rosabella, darling!" I hear my mom call me from the living area.
I walk in. My father is also there. "Yes mother?"
"We never asked about your legacy year."
"Oh! Well, it was, um..."
I don't know what to say.
"Well, A few students, made it so we could, right our own stories."
My mother gasped. "Oh, Rosabella! You must still follow your destiny! We even found out who your beast was going to be!!"
"Really, who?"
"I thought you knew." My father said.
"No, I didn't get a chance."
"Oh, well your beast was- is! Going to be..."
I held my breath, was it too much to wish it to be Daring?
"Dexterous Charming!" She exclaimed.
I gasped. Dexter?! Seriously?!
I slowly backed away in shock, then ran to my room.

Maddie: Ohhh wow, why is Dexter-

Male narrator: Madline we can not tell you.

Female narrator: That's right, right Brooke??

Brooke: (sigh) Yes.

Maddie: aww okay.....
