Chapter 2: Readying For Summer

Rosabella's P.O.V
I am walking down the halls by myself, heading to my dorm. I cannot believe that it's summer vacation already! It came so fast!
As I walked, I saw Daring Charming, son of King Charming. I walk over to him.
"Hey Daring! You better now that you're yourself, again?" I ask him.
"Yep! So glad to have my handsome self again!" He replied, striking a ridiculous pose. I laugh.
We talk more, then I walk off in the other direction. Why was I nervous? I mean, I've never been nervous around him before, so why now??
When I finally get to my dorm, no one is there. I finish packing my suit cases, then lay on my bed. I decide to listen to my museic on my mirrorphone.
As I do, I start to think about Daring. How I helped him become more selfless, how funny he is, how cute...
What am I thinking?! I quickly shake the thought off and there was a knock at my door.
I go answer the door to see Ashlynn, Briar, and Apple standing there.
"Hey, cousin!" Briar said with a grin.
"Hi, guys!" I replied.
"We wanted to invite you to come with us to the tea shop!" Ashlynn said.
"Sure! Why not! I just need to grab something!" I said, running to grab my purse.
"Okay, let's go!" I said, rushing back to the door.
We headed out and we passed by..
"Hey, Daring!" Apple said.
"Ladies." He said, nodding and smiling, we could hear some girls behind us sigh.
We pass Daring and his eyes follow me for a minute, then back to in front of him.
"Rosabella, hello?!" Ashlynn waved a hand in my face, I jump.
"S-sorry, let's go." I say, embarrassed. The others didn't say anything.
When we finally made it to the tea shop, everything was, well, mad.
Tea cups and saucers were flying around the ceiling, tea pots hovering, and at the register, was, Maddie.
"Hey, guys!!" She exclaimed, waving her hands for us to see.
"Hi, Maddie!" Answers Apple. "We'll have-"
"Earl grey, camomile, honey??" Maddie asked madly.
"Uh, honey will do for me." I said, it'll help my always sore throat anyway.
"Me too, with extra honey!" Said Apple.
Once we all got our teas we found a table to sit.
"So! Summer vacation is here at last!" Ashlynn exclaimed. "But, I will miss all of you."
"Don't worry Ash, I'll be throw'n parties a lot this summer, so I'll get to see you all more often!" Briar said, flipping her hair.
"Even though I will miss my friends,
I'm so excited to go home!" Apple said, but I was no longer listening.
I again started to think about Daring.
"Rosabella? Hello?? ROSABELLA!!" Briar almost shouts, I gasp.
"Again? What do you do when you stare into space like that?" Ashlynn asked.
"Nothing, just, thinking about summer vacation!" I say nervously.
We continue to talk and sip our tea, until we finally go back to our own dorms...
Darings P.O.V
I walk into my dorm and lay on my bed. It had been a few minutes since my talk with Rosabella, sweet, sweet Rosabella....
"Stop!! Stop it now!!" I shout in my mind. I just can't think about her that way. After a few minutes, I decided to take another walk, to clear my head.
Eventually I pass Apple, Briar, Ashlynn, and, Rosabella.
"Hey, Daring!" Apple says to me.
"Ladies." I say, nodding and smiling at them. I hear many girls sigh around us. I pass the girls, my eyes followed Rosabella for a second, then I quickly tore them away and stared at the ground in front of me. I sigh. Even though I'm a Charming, I don't feel charming.
I keep walking and see Dexter with Hunter.
"Hey guys." I say to them.
"Hi. Something wrong?" Dexter asked.
"No, no, I'm fine." I say back, shoving my hands into my pockets.
"Hey, me, Dexter, and some of the other guys were going to go walk around town. Want to come?" Hunter asked.
"Sure! Why not?" I said.
So we made our way out, where a few other guys were waiting for us.
"Ready? Let's go." Hunter said.
As we walk around town, the guys talk about who knows what, I wasn't listening, and when we passed the tea shop, I see Apple, Briar, Ashlynn, and, and Rosabella in there.
I stop and look at her, man, she is beautiful.
I continue to stare at her when I feel at tap on my shoulder.
"Hey, Daring, come on!" Dexter says to me. I turn around fast and feel my cheeks getting hotter.
"Sorry, let's uh, let's go." I said fast, rushing to catch up with the others, Dexter behind me.
When we do catch up, my face was no longer red, but I was still a little embarrassed.
"What were you looking at?" Dexter asked, everyone else anxious to know.
"N-nothing just, thinking about tomorrow." I said.
"Don't worry about it. Let's just hang today." Hunter said, the others nodding. I nodded too.
"But I just don't under stand what's wrong with me." I thought.

Maddie: Narrators!!! Please tell me what's wrong with Daring!!

Male narrator: Sorry Madiline, we can't tell you!

Female narrator: That's right. You'll know later.

Brooke: Yeah, bummer, right? I wish I could tell you.

Maddie: It's okay! Time for tea!!!!!

The end is just the beginning!!!!!!!
