Hey guys! Unfortunately I could not break up this chapter because it would make 0 sense so this one will be a little long....ENJOY

Alice

That night I was flooded with dreams of Jefferson and her. Her dark eyes and menacing cackle sent me into a frenzy that when I awoke at seven to the clock tower, I was thankful.

It was Saturday, the day of the ball. I tried to push all the awful dreams away as I carried out a regular shift at Grannys. Around noon, Henry walked briskly through the door and took a seat at the bar.

"Hey Henry, how are you?" I asked, walking up to him and plaing my arms on the counter. "Great." he said shyly. "The usual?" I asked as silence overtook us. He nodded and I went to write in the order.

I stood by the register and handed a man his change, while noticing the look Ruby was casting a look in Henry's direction.

"Have a wonderful day." I said as the man left and I reverted my eyes back to Henry. He was reading a large book.

It wasn't a dictionary, or something like The Count of Monte Cristo. It looked more like a storybook.

"Order up!" The large cook called, dinging a bell. I grabbed the plates and carried them to their respected tables, noticing that the picture in Henry's book looked oddly familiar.

Brushing it off, I waited until his order was called up to approach.

"Grilled cheese and fries, just the way you..." I trailed off as I placed the plate with a scrape on the counter beside him. "What is this?" I asked softly, taking in the picture of Jefferson and a little girl with dark hair sitting at a table.

"Uh-it's a story book....wait do you remember this?" I looked at him dubiously.

"What? How do you have this?" "Hey it's okay. I'll tell my mom and we can help you." I turned and started out of the building and into the alleyway.

Thougths swirled in my mind. How did he have a picture of Jefferson and I when we had never met before? How the hell was I in a storybook?

"Alice? Are you okay?" Ruby appeared, looking confused and frazzled. I nodded. "I-I'm fine. Just feeling a little sick is all. You got a cigarette?" I asked.

She reached into her apron and handed me one. I nodded gratefully as she disappeared and left me to ponder everything.

Henry finished his meal and packed up before Alice was able to return. He then started out of Granny's and over to the Sherriff's office where he knew his mom would be.

Inside, Emma sat at a desk, pondering the new arrivals with her parents.

"They want a second chance, and who are we to say they can't have one?" Mary-Margret argued as Emma rubbed her head. "It just makes me nervous." Henry ran in and almost crashed into Emma's desk.

"Kid, what's going on?" Emma asked, standing to offer him her chair. He was out of breath as he placed the book down on the desk.

"She remembers." Emma looked to David and Mary-Margret. "Who remembers?" "Alice. I was at Granny's and she walked by and saw this picture and she remembered. Or at least I think she did. She ran out." Emma shook her head.

"Henry, she's from the real world. She somehow got here by mistake." Mary-Margret grabbed the book.

"So you think she is Alice from....Alice In Wonderland?" Mary-Margret had never heard of Alice, but she did know of Wonderland.
