Chapter 4: The Prank
Meghan cycled to school to meet Neven and Margaret. "Hey." All three girls greeted each other. "Have you caught a cockroach?" Meghan asked Margaret. "Yeah. It's in this container," Margaret answered. "Hopefully the plan will work," Neven said with hope.

"Class!" Mrs. Hannigan chanted. "Good Morning Mrs. Hannigan," The class greeted. The class shortly ended. "Margaret! Can you please help me carry my books and my purse?" Mrs. Hannigan ordered Margaret. Margaret carried the books. Mrs. Hannigan stopped to do her business in the toilet. Margaret slowly put the cockroach inside the bag. Mrs. Hannigan forgot something in the classroom. She went back inside and sneezed. She reached for her purse which was in Margaret's hands for a tissue. She opened the purse, and the cockroach flew out. "Aaaah! Aaaaah! What the-" Mrs. Hannigan screamed. The whole class laughed but the cockroach eventually flew out of the window.

The school bus stopped at Meghan's house as Meghan waved goodbye to Neven. Meghan announced what had happened to her mother and Lindsey. They laughed. Meghan went up and showered. She got dressed into her nightie and ate biscuits for supper. Lindsey slept over with Meghan, since her bed was a daybed. Meghan was proud that her prank worked out successfully.
