Huh, there's no wind...

You thought to yourself as you continued walking around in the park. You where headed to the local library a block away. The site of two kids standing underneath an oddly shaking tree caught your attention. Checking the time you realized It was only a little past noon and the library wouldn't be closing until around 4, so you had some free time.

Upon reaching the tree you noticed a man jumping on the branch, his hands up as if he was reaching for something. The two children stood next to the tree's stump turned their attention to you.

"What is that guy doing?" you asked the kids.

"He promised to get the ball we kicked up there down," The child with curly blond hair responded, turning to look up at the man again. You noticed the branch starting to bend way more then it should.

"Um excuse me. Please be more careful, that branch is unstable!" You shouted up to the guy. He must not have heard you because he continued his actions. You shouted a little louder trying not to startle him.

"Hey! That branch is going to break!"
Finally he stopped and looked down at you.

"Hello!" He shouted at you, waving his hand crazily. His voice was quite deep. Like deeper than the Pacific Ocean. You waved back trying to get him to come down but, he began jumping for the ball again. Giving up, you began to walk away until you heard a cracking sound. Quickly you turned back, but was hit by something.
When you opened your eyes, you were met with beautiful brown ones.

"OMO! I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" The deep voice asked.

You couldn't seem to say anything, but just stared at the guy. He had handsome facial features with soft brown hair. Your cheeks were heating up and you felt as if all the air had left your lungs. Pain suddenly struck your back. You looked to the side and realized you were now at ground level.

This punk fell on me!

"Can you please get off of me?" You asked looking at the, now red faced guy.

"Oh yeah. Sorry about that," He mumbled, getting up, "Thanks for breaking my fall!"

You ignored his comment and stood up. Immediately you regretted doing it, not just because of the pain but also your height difference. From the little giggle that left his mouth, he clearly noticed too. Simply ignoring it you proceeded with asking why he was up there and lectured about how dangerous it was. The whole time, a smile never left his face.

"Why are you smiling? You could have been seriously hurt," you frowned not understanding his actions.

"My names Kim Taehyung but, you can call me V. What's yours?" The guy asked.

"My names (y/n). Don't try changing the subject dude!" you spoke, not understanding why he asked for your name now.

"Get on my back (y/n)," he said squatting backwards in front of you.

"WHAT!? Did you just hear a single word I just said? Besides I'm too heavy for you!" You shouted. People were for sure, giving you weird looks as the pasted by.

"Of course I can! Come on do it for the kids. Please?" V commented, making a pouty face.

Looking towards the two children, they gave faces of pleading and begging remakes.

"Fine!" You shouted setting down your bag.

Slowly you climbed up onto his shoulders and reached for the white ball. Sadly you were too short and was no where near reaching it. Instead you grabbed a branch and pulled your self up onto it. Climbing a few more branches, you reached the ball. Cheers from the three below erupted as you tossed it down to them. Looking down, you realized there wasn't a way to get down. Panic started to rise within you.

"Hey! It's ok! Just jump, I'll catch you!" V shouted, expanding his arms out, implying he'd do what he said.
You looked around trying to find a different way down. Unfortunately, he was the only choice.

"Promise you'll catch me?" You shouted back.

"I promise I will not let you get hurt!" V shouted back.

He said he'll catch you!

You'll be ok!

Stop being a pussy!

Hope this guy can catch elephants!

Closing your eyes, you jumped. For sure your weight colliding with his would send you both tumbling to the ground, but It didn't. He stayed in his stance as he wrapped his arms around, not letting you anywhere near the ground.

"See I told you. I got you," He whispered in your ear, hugging you tighter.

"Put me down!" You yelled. He may be cute, but you just met the dude. Quickly he released you.

"Thank you. Well I guess I'll be on my way. Be more careful next time," you said looking back and forth from V to the kids.

"Where are you going? Wanna get ice cream? Maybe coffee instead? Can I buy you lunch?" V threw questions at you.

"Well I'm off to the library, but grabbing a bite to eat afterwards wouldn't hurt," you giggled. V shouted victory noises as he grabbed you bag, waved goodbye to the kids, and linked arms with you in a matter of seconds. You laughed at his behavior, trying to get you to start skipping with him down sidewalk.
