You wake up in a sweat with a scream. This is all too familiar. Every night your head was plagued with these dreams, or should I say, nightmares.
It was him every time too. Something happening on tour. He breaks up with you after finding someone new. Or even worse he dies right before your eyes.
The tears well up again and roll down your face.
You choke out a sob.
Next thing you know there he is coming through the door and onto the sheets, hugging you.
"Jagi what's wrong, please tell me. Please don't cry, it hurts me when you cry."
His words seem to be the only thing that calm you down. But those three specific ones put you in complete calm.
"I love you, please don't cry."
His hand behind your head and around your waist, give you warmth and calm your sobs.
After a while you are breathing normally and the tears have ceased.
"Do you want to talk about it?" He whispers into your ear. His breath gives you goosebumps on your neck. You usually don't like to talk about your dreams, because you know the crying will start again. But this time you nod, and explain the thoughts that ran through your head.
By the time you were done, the tears had made their way to your eyes again, but not fallen.
"Oh, (Y/N) I would never leave you, ever. I could never leave you. And those things would never happen to me I promise. You know manager-nim is so cautious with everything, I won't get hurt." He says, his deep brown eyes capturing yours.
"I'm sorry Jinwoo. I'm sorry for waking you up so often, I just keep having nightmares about you." He placed both of his hands on the sides of your face, and he leaned his forehead on yours.
"I love you (y/n). You don't have to say sorry. Also, the fact that your nightmares are about me make me feel happy." He says smiling.
"Why?" You say. Why would he be happy about my nightmares?

"Because our brains only give us nightmares about things we are afraid to lose. Which means you don't want to lose me either."
