"C'mon, Chae!! We'll be late!" I heard knocks and my name being called out repeatedly at the other side of my bedroom door. I cursed under my breath while wearing my pastel-colored pearl earrings.
"I'm coming. I'm coming!" I shouted back as I stood up and look at my reflection from head to toe for the last time at my mirror.
As I opened the door, I saw a pouting Jungkook with his arms crossed on his chest. "What?" I asked confusedly.
"You're taking so long. We're gonna be late" He answered while still pouting.
I chuckled while you looking at him because I don't know if he's really mad or just trying to act like one because he looks so cute while pouting. "Aigoo, Jeon Jungkook. It won't even start for another couple of hours, so what's the rush?"
"Aishhh.. You're not thinking about what might happen. What if there's a heavy traffic? What if there's a road accident? What if---"
"Okay.. I got it. I got it. Geez.. You're so... so... nevermind. Let's go." I closed my bedroom door and heads towards the exit. I heard his footsteps behind me indicating that he's following.
Today is our first day on the job. We both got hired at the same time right after seeing our school records which are all positive and high.
Jungkook and I took a bus because we want to be independent now and we don't want to ask his parents to drive us to work.
While in the bus, I noticed him holding a mini book and reads with full attention to it. I tiny smile involuntarily crept up into my face knowing that what he's holding was a mini English dictionary. This guy really has grown into a man now. I can still remember the time when he keeps cursing when we're studying English because he never understands a single word from our textbook. But now, look at him, already holding a dictionary which once he hated to death.
"Take a picture of it. It'll last longer." I suddenly heard his voice which puts me back to reality.
I blinked a few times and asked him. "What?"
"You've been staring at me for a minute now." he answered while still not taking his eyes off of the book.
I mockingly chuckled and quickly shifted my attention to anything I can see from the outside.
We arrived at our destination after half an hour. Jungkook kindly let me walk ahead of him while going out of the bus the later joined beside me when we walk towards our building.
"So... I'll see later at lunch?"
I nodded with a smile. "As always."
"Okay then. Don't be late or I'll eat without you."
"As if you can do that." I stuck my tongue out at him but he gave me a wink and smirk as a response. I rolled my eyes at him as I turned around and walked to my station. I heard him chuckled but I just shrugged it off.
Time flies so fast that I didn't even realized that it's already lunch time until suddenly, someone covers my eyes from behind while asking who he was when it was definitely obvious that I know the answer.
"Oh c'mon, Kookie.. move away. I still have to finish this before we can go." I said as I tried pushing his hand away.
"Aigoo.. but I'm starving~" he whined like a little baby.
"Then go have lunch first. I'll just follow. I just have to finish this first."
He quickly put his hands away from my eyes and sat beside me. "I'll help you then." He offered.
"Ani... Ani.. I can do this."
"Oh c'mon.. I'll help you.." he started copying what I'm doing.
I sighed as I looked at him. "Fine.. You can help."
"Thank you." He looked at me and gave me his cute bunny smile.
"Then we'll go out after this, right?"
I nodded as a respose. "Mhm.. We wil."
I saw him smile and gave me a quick peck on the cheek which left me startled. He then realized what he did after a few seconds when he saw me not moving for a while. "Omo... I... d-didn't mean t-that." He stuttered while looking at different directions except mine.
I chuckled at his actions and he slowly looked at me, confusion written on his face. "It's okay Kook.. As if you committed a crime."
He looked away again and continued helping getting my work done.
After we finished with everything, he and I went to our favorite resto just around the corner. He help me with my chair like a gentleman he is and I just smiled at him in return. Kookie knows me way too much to even ask me what I want to order, so, he immediately called a waiter and told him our orders.
As we wait for our food, I kinda took the opportunity to observe his outfit while he is not looking. I saw him wearing clothes differently than he usually was. He's starting to dress up like a grown up man rather than just plain white shirt and tattered jeans. He's also starting to get so masculine that his biceps are gonna burst whenever he does simple flexes with his arms. Also, he's been into books lately. I've seen him holding and reading books whenever he has free time.
He's becoming a real adult now.
And he kinda resembles Namjoon now..
His clothing.. his physique... his attitude... his habits...
Like he's living Namjoon's lifestyle..
...or is it just me?
"Wae?"
"H-Huh?" Then suddenly my senses came back to reality.
"Why are you looking at m-- ani.. Why are you checking me out?" Then he slowly smirked at me.
"The fuck, Kookie.. Why would I even check you out?" I defensively answered as I looked away from him.
"Don't try to deny it.. I know you know that I'm handsome."
"Tsk. As if..." I rolled my eyes as a reply to his cocky statement. Good thing our orders is finally arriving so I can cut this nonsense topic out and just enjoy our lunch.
But he really does look handsome than he already was before.

Omo! It's already been a year since I've updated this book. 😭
I'm so sorry for the long hiatus. It's just that it was a hella busy year for me. I've already graduated from collage then I'm working now so ye... really sorry for that. Tbh... I did plan to delete this book because idk when will I ever get this updated again because I've been losing ideas and plots but good thing I didn't cuz I'm back to continue this book. 👍
This chap is a crap imo BUT I'll my best to make the future chaps be more exciting and worth your time reading hihihi. BUT I won't update than often tho since I'm working now and I go home late so I'm really tired and all BUT DON'T WORRY.. I'LL CONTINUE THIS BOOK TILL THE END. 👍👍
