"He misses you Kelsey." Bree repeated.
Just as I thought I was getting better, the nausea came back. I ran to the washroom and barely made it.
When I finished, I took out a piece of gum and put it into my mouth. I flushed the remander of the grossness and exited the washroom, only to bump into a worried looking Bree.
"Are you okay?" She asked when we arrived in her room once again.
"No, I've been sick like this all week and also had to deal with many headaches. I shouldn't have come today, I don't need you guys to see me sick." I shook my head. I finally looked up and Bree looked horrified. "I'm sorry if I freaked you out with that."
"This might be a really awkward question but at that party you went to, did you by any chance, uh, you know." Bree scratches her head. "Have sex with Louis?"
I didn't really understand why she was asking me this but it was making me feel really awkward. I avoided her gaze and nodded. When she didn't reply, I looked up to make sure she knew I answered her. She looked beyond surprised.
"Did you use protection?" She asked. Then it hit me what she was thinking.
"No, no. I'm not pregnant." I shut her idea down right away because I didn't want to think about it.
"Just answer the question."
"No, I don't think we did." I shook my head, blinking back the tears. I couldn't be pregnant. That would ruin my life and I am certainly not able to be a mom.
"I think we should buy a pregnancy test just to make sure." Bree informed me.
The tears in my eyes finally forced there way out and there was no stopping them. I nodded slightly while following Bree downstairs.
"Mom, Kelsey and I are going out for a bit. We'll be back before dinner." Bree informed her mom without saying what was wrong with me.
I'm glad Noah wasn't around to see me like this because he would force me to tell him what was wrong and it isn't the best thing to be talking to him about.
"Let's go." Bree smiled sympathetically to me.
We headed to the drugstore and bought at least three different tests just to be sure. We then headed back to my place to do it when no one was home. Luckily, my parents were still at work for another few hours.
I went up to the washroom and chose a random test and did it. When I was finished, I sat it on the counter and washed my hands while going back to greet Bree who was waiting patiently in the living room.
"So?" She asked me once I entered the living room.
"The box said it would take at least ten minutes for it to process." I explained while sitting next to her on the couch and sighing. My life was just going in a downward spiral. And it all started with Louis.
Everything always ended up going right back to Louis. If only he knew how much he screwed up my life. This wasn't helping though, blaming Louis for all the problems in my life when I did cause a lot of them. I made the choice of letting him sit next to me in science. Maybe if I didn't say yes, we wouldn't have been friends. I probably wouldn't have met Bree or Leyna; or Noah. I have to admit, I'm glad I met Noah. He does have a special place in my heart. But he was only here because Louis told him to be friends with me. Of course, even my friendship with Noah revolves around Louis; I just can't get him out of my life.
"Kelsey," Bree knocked me out of my thoughts. "You gotta stop thinking because your just getting yourself stressed out and it wouldn't be good for the baby."
