Chapter Seven
Phoebe woke up the next morning and screamed.
Someone, or something, had murdered Abbey Bominable.
Her mother and daddy rushed in, coming to the worst conclusions. When they saw what had happened, they begun to worry. Whatever happened to Abbey could have just as easily happened to Phoebe. At that point, they made a rash decision. They would move houses, and Phoebe would sleep in their room. They didn't want anything bad to happen to their little girl.
Each parent took the day off work, calling their realtor and asking about houses for sale. Phoebe went to school, because her parents said it would be safer with the constant watchful eye of the teacher, and if she were surrounded by people her age.
During nap time, Phoebe had nightmares. She awoke screaming, waking up the rest of the class. She was then taken to a separate room to nap.
Phoebe laid there on her mat, playing with her Clawdeen doll. She looked at her hand and noticed a short, white hair.
Abbey's hair.
Phoebe panicked a bit. What would a hair from Abbey be doing in Clawdeen's hand?
She then remembered that Clawdeen and Abbey played together, and she slept With them both. Maybe Clawdeen had accidentally ripped out Abbey's hair in the night or during one of their games.
Still, she couldn't help but be suspicious. She wasn't going to do anything, not yet.
If only she had.
