Toriel?! - Chapter 2

( A/N sorry if I posted this chapter twice, Wattpad is glitching out and won't let me post my 2nd chapter, aka this one. Also, if I do not post once or twice on a certain day, sorry, but I'm busy with school ;-; )

Julia's P.O.V.

We were on our hike, when I accidentally tripped over a vine and fell into a hole. Liz came down with me, but we didn't die.. I think. I look down to see we landed on a bed of.. golden flowers? However, what I also notice is our clothing. We are no longer wearing what we had on before. I had on a green sweater with a yellow stripe, and Lizzie had a blue one with 2 purplish-pink stripes.

"Liz... what happened to our clothes?"

"I dunno." is all she can say.

"Don't worry about it, Okay Liz? We can fix this. Now, lets get outta here." I say, getting up to go to the next room. She follows me, and when we enter the room we come across a.. flower?!? It has a face too..

"Jewel, is that..a flower with a face?"

I don't say anything, I just shrug and stare at the flower.

Then, the most bizarre thing happens. It starts to speak.

"Howdy! I'm Flowey. Flowey the flower!" He starts.

"Oh my god." Lizzie says.

"Hmmm... you two are new to the Underground, aren'tcha? Golly, you must be so confused!" Flowey continues.

"I sure am, actually." I mutter to myself.

"Someone ought to teach you how things work around here! I guess little old me will have to do. Ready? Here we go!" He says.

In a snap, and I mean literally a snap, one red heart appears in front each of us. Must be our souls. Lizzie's looks fine, but mine.. seems to have a small crack in it? I wonder what thats all about...

"See those hearts?" Flowey says. "That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being! Your souls start off weak, but can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV."

"Grrr, can we just kill him and get on with this?" I growl. I start walking towards Flowey, but something holds me back. I turn around to see Lizzie holding me by the wrists.

"What are you doing?" I say.

"Don't kill him! He's probably innocent!" She whispers harshly.

"Fine, fine. I won't kill him. Yet.", I say to her, whispering the last word.

We turn back to Flowey, and he starts rambling again.

"What's LV stand for? Why, LOVE, of course!"

"Love, really?" I mumble.

"You want some LOVE, don't you?"

The words come out of my mouth without even thinking abut it. "Umm, no thanks."

Liz smacks my arm. "Aw, come on Julia. Afraid of a little love? " She says.

"No, just the fact that we don't even know this.. thing." I say.

"Okay, you know what?" She says, turning to Flowey. "We'll take some."

"Alright! Don't worry, I'll share some with you!" He says.

"Oh great." I say, rubbing my arm.

"Just be quiet and let it happen." She retorts.

"Yeah, whatever."

Flowey winks, for some strange reason.. and continues to babble. "Down here, LOVE is shared through.. little white... 'Friendliness Pellets'. Are you ready?" He asks. "Move around, get as many as you can!"

"Correction: Move around, dodge as many as you can. I don't trust this guy" I say quietly to myself, hoping Flowey didn't hear.

I easily dodge 2 rounds, pulling Lizzie around with me, but after the third, Flowey starts to go crazy.

"You know whats going on here, don't you?" He says in a sinister voice. "You just wanted to see me suffer."

"Actually, yes." I say.

Liz elbows me in the stomach. "Julia!!"

"Well sorry. I didn't mean it." I say sarcastically.

"Just shut up."

"Sure, whatever makes you happy." I respond in a mocking tone.

"DIE" he says, and a ring of pellets comes out of nowhere, trapping us. We're going to die, aren't we.

Lizzie's P.O.V.

The pellets keep coming closer and closer, until they reach us.. but they heal us instead of harm us. Then, a fireball comes from the right and hits Flowey right in the face.

"Thank God. I thought we we're gonna die." I say.

"What, scared?" Julia replies, smirking.

"Pfft, as if you weren't."

"Okay, maybe I was a little scared.." She says quietly, probably so I can't hear her but I did. I look toward the direction in which Flowey once was and pretend I didn't hear anything.

And then, a woman in a purple dress- no, a goat woman comes up to us and says:

"What a terrible creature, torturing such poor, innocent youth... Ah, do not be afraid, my children! I am Toriel, caretaker of the Ruins."

"Oh my gosh Jewel it's a TALKING GOAT!" I whisper.

"Could be worse, I guess." She says, although clearly shocked that Toriel, a TALKING GOAT, is standing RIGHT in front of us. How can I tell? Well, her mouth is open in shock and I'm pretty sure her jaw just dropped to the floor.

Toriel continues. "I pass through this place everyday to see if anyone has fallen down. You are the first humans to come here in a long time. Come! I will guide you through the catacombs." She smiles.

Toriel turns around and says "This way." motioning to the door that was behind Flowey, and walks off, waiting for us to follow her into the next room.

"I can't.. I can't believe this is happening!" I say.

"You aren't the only one, Liz." Julia says, half-excited and half-surprised.

"Well, shall we?" I say, pointing towards the door Toriel went through.

"Yes, we shall. Let the adventure begin!" Julia smiles, and we walk through the door, where our crazy adventure through the Underground will begin.

Boom, chapter 2 is done! As the girls enter the world of the Underground, Lizzie strives to keep Julia from hurting anyone, even Flowey! Yes, flowers deserve mercy, even if they're evil. Also, what's up with Julia's cracked Soul? Could it have something to do with the genocide? Next chapter will be tomorrow. Until next time darlings! ♥♥♥
