Luke pulls into a parking spot at Greendale Hospital. I grab my purse and coat and bolt out of the car.
"Honey, slow down!" Luke calls from behind me.
"My child is having an asthma attack and he doesn't have his inhaler!" I scream back and fly through the front door. "Hi, my son came in tonight because he had an asthma attack. His name is Michael Clifford." Luke walks in the doors and stands next to me. He snakes his hand around my waist.
"Ah yes, Michael was brought in by Ms.Conley, his babysitter by what she told me."
"Yes she's his babysitter, where can I find my son?"
"Room 37B." She says with a smile. I run down the hallway, frantically searching for room 37B.
"Babe, it's back here." Luke says from behind me. I turn around and see him standing quite a ways down the hallway. I run back and hug him.
"Thank you for being so calm." I open the door and see Michael sitting in a hospital bed with Camilla and a doctor sitting in a chair.
"Ms.Clifford, I'm assuming. Michael's been asking when you were gonna get here."
"I'm here now, bean." I hug Michael. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah mommy. Camilla and I were playing tag and I couldn't breathe and I couldn't find my inhaler."
"I know bean, I know... But these nice people helped you?"
"Yes mommy." He smiles. "Why do you look so nice for Camilla's daddy?" I look over to Luke. He subtly shakes his head.
"We were giving each other makeovers." I answers.
"Then why does daddy look the same?" Camilla asks.
"We weren't finished." Luke answers. He walks over to the bed and stands next to me. "But I think Liv looks nice." I smile and prevent myself from blushing.
"I think she looks good too." Camilla says. "She looks like a princess! But like, the mommy princess."
"You mean the queen?" Luke asks.
"Yeah!" Luke smiles at me.
"Will the parents please wait outside?" The doctor asks.
"Sure thing." I say.
Luke and I walk outside of the room and I close the door behind me.
"Crazy night." Luke says as he sits down in a chair on the other end of the hall. I sit next to him.
"Yeah." I sigh. "Thank you for being so calm."
"No problem, baby." I lay my head on his shoulder. "Hey, maybe our date doesn't have to be over."
"What do you mean?" I ask. He takes out his phone from his pocket.
"We can watch a movie on my phone." He says and opens Netflix.
"It's a date." I smile as Luke starts a movie.Short chapter but I had no inspiration lmao bye
