Chapter 6 - You can't study in a destroyed school

You wake up in a bed, inside the Seasoning Hospital, again...

Your gaze goes over to the window, it's dark outside, checking your phone, it's 9:58p.m. You sigh lightly, looking over to Pack, who is still asleep. He looks cute when he's all curled up, this sight made you smile softly.

"Sorry Pack-kun... I'm going to turn on the TV, I want to see the news.", you whisper as you grab the remote controller. The room lights up when the TV got turned on, you switch through some channels, finding one that reports about the daily news.

Your eyes widen as you see a reporter standing in front of your school... Well, the destroyed part. Most of the parts near the basement, where Mob was abducted, are shattered. The rest seems to be fine...You shake the spirit besides you softly, waking him up.

"P-Pack-kun...? Did you k-know about t-t-this?", you stutter in shock. The now awaken cat opens one eye, looking at you then stretches itself, watching TV. "Well, I knew... There will be reparations... But not that it got nearly destroyed..."

"The students will be split up in different schools, even though this is... was a high school, some will be sent to the nearest middle schools, too. Please be patient, the students will get a letter soon, detailing everything. This school's headmaster told us that the repair will last 2 months at least. It seems like a gas leak inside the boiler room has caused an explosion, destroying the main part of the school, thankfully nobody got hurt."

Yeah nobody, just you, with a bear trap, lucky you...

"I'll be leaving tomorrow, looking for the letter, I'll bring it to you, okay (Y/N)-chan?", Pack proposes. You nod slowly, still not understanding what has happened when you were unconscious. Was Mob really THAT strong? Without question, he's indeed White T Poison... But somehow... It's scary, seeing the destruction his power can cause... He's strong... Stronger than you...

"Why are you crying?", the spirit shakes you out of your thoughts, then you hold your hand on your cheek, feeling a warm tear drop on it. Wiping it away you look puzzled at the cat, then mumble. "D-Did I really made the r-right decision...?"

Pack holds his ears in a pose, showing you that he didn't understand you, but then smiles. "You should sleep now, (Y/N)-chan. Tomorrow will be a new day, with new opportunities... " You nod towards your familiar spirit, turning off the TV and falling backwards on your bed. As you get more and more comfy sleep conquers your body.

Moving with crutches isn't as easy as it looks, but you somehow managed to walk around the hospital cautiously.

Showing your therapist your progress he nods at you, satisfied with your development.

"Well, well, (L/N)-san. I think you'll be able to leave the hospital today and go to school tomorrow... But do you know to which school you'll be going?", the therapists says, rubbing his chin, "You are from the Pepper High School, aren't you?"

You nod a few times, smiling at him, all happy to get out of that damn hospital... "Yeah, I don't know my sp-... Ehmm... My friend will bring me the letter in which everything is explained...", you answer nervously. You nearly told him about your spirit friend, when he would have heard this, they would have brought you to another nice hospital including a new white, tight jacket...

"Hmmm... Then go to your room, pack your things together and get the hell out of here...", he grins brightly at you, he knew how much you hate hospital stays. Nodding a few times you get as quickly as possible to your room, doing what your therapist told you.
