Why did angels have to be so good looking? Why couldn't they be unattractive things that didn't make you go weak in the knees whenever you saw one, well one in particular.
Castiel angel of the Lord was probably one of the single most attractive man (angel) you had ever seen in your whole life. His soft black hair and radiant blue eyes only added to the sexy stubble and the defined chin. Why couldn't you have fallen for a mortal man? Someone normal. Nope you had to have the immortal angel who probably would never love you back, probably.
The Winchester's had been like brothers to you since high school. Sam had been a senior while you had been a freshman, but you were smart and had skipped a grade. He took you under his wing for the few months he had attended your high school and introduced you to Dean his older brother.
There was something odd about them. Everyone whispered about how they never stayed in once place too long and how their father would just ditch them and go off on these wild hunting trips. You knew this was true, but there was something else whispered as well. They hunted demons and killed ghosts. Obviously those were just vicious lies told about every new kid that entered high school.
Many years later you had required some supernatural assistance and had tracked down Sam's phone number in order to call him. He and his brother had showed up and taken care of the vengeful spirit haunting an abandoned factory near the center of your town. This had also caused to first encounter with Castiel.
He had appeared after the Winchester's and you had finished with the spirit. You didn't even know how he had gotten there in the first place since he seemed to have materialized out of thin air. Dean had explained what was going on and you vaguely understood it. Something about perdition and owing him.
Either way you had found him tremendously attractive. He didn't so much as give you a second thought. He was a freaking angel and you were just this normal person who had been in some sticky situations.
"Hey Cas," you said using the nickname given to the angel by Dean. "Hello (y/n)," he replied in his deep voice. "Where's Sam and Dean? I thought they'd be here?" You asked wondering where your two friends had gone. "They said something about getting a beer," Castiel said. "Sounds like something they'd do," you replied.
An awkward silence followed. "So... what's it like being an angel?" You asked trying to break the ice. "It's fine," Castiel replied bluntly.
Then something totally unexpected happened. Castiel made his way swiftly over to you, wrapped his arms around your waist and kissed you hard on the mouth. "Wha- what was that for?" You asked, shocked. "Dean told me to do it. He said if I thought you were pretty I should kiss you. Was that not okay?" He asked worried. "No, no, that was fine Cas, I just wasn't expecting it," you replied a small smile creeping onto your lips.
