It's been another boring day sitting around in your London flat. You sighed and looked around for something that would spark your interest besides the laptop sitting in front of you. Nothing. You sighed and returned back to your laptop and continued surfing through the internet trying to entertain yourself.
Eventually you got up and walked to the kitchen to get a snack when your stomach started making weird noises. Upon opening the fridge you discovered you didn't have any milk. 'Great, what am I going to do about cereal?' You questioned yourself. 'Looks like I have to buy more.' You groaned at the thought of having to take the tube to the nearest convenience store.
You dragged yourself to your room and slipped on some jeans, a t-shirt, and a coat. You grabbed a bag that contained your wallet and slipped your phone into one of the pockets. You grabbed your flat keys from the hook on the door and locked the door as you left the flat.
You stepped out into the hallway and walked towards the elevator at the end. 'I should take the stairs.' You didn't, you always try to make yourself walk down the stair every time you left the flat, but it never happened.
You waited patiently for the elevator and walked aboard when it finally arrived. You hit the button the the lobby and sighed because no one else was in it. You checked your phone messages and replied to your friend who'd been non stop texting you about this cute coffee shop that opened up a few miles away.
As the elevator dinged after a while and you stepped out into the lobby. You waved at Tyler the old desk manager. He waved back as usual and you continued on your way to the underground station to board a train to get some milk.
You hated going on the tube. It was noisy, crowded, and smelled awful. Luckily enough for you it was too packed since all the work people had already left their offices some hours ago. You found a seat that didn't seem to be soaked in an odd substance and sat. You put in your ear buds and began listening to (your favorite band). It was about a 10-15 minutes ride, but you liked avoiding awkward conversation all the same.
After a few minutes someone tapped you on the shoulder. You took out your ear buds and looked up. The person who had tapped you on the shoulder was completely recognizable. He had brown hair and a beard and you just see one of his tattoos poking out from the collar of his shirt. It was the film star Tom Hardy. "Excuse me, but can I sit here?" He asked pointing to the clean and vacant seat next to you. "Of-of course," you stuttered. "Thank you," he replied and dropped into the seat setting his bag on the floor.
Oh no. Now what did you do? Did you say something to him? Did you just leave him alone? Wait for him to start a conversation. "So, you going anywhere important?" He asked. "Oh, no, I'm just out of milk," you replied. Oh my god that sounded so stupid. "What about you?" You asked trying to recover. "I'm just going to get a present for a friend," he replied. "I'm Tom Hardy, by the way," he said sticking out his hand. "I'm (y/n) (y/l/n), and I loved your performance as Bane," you replied hoping that didn't come off as too creepy. "Ah a fan, well it's lovely to meet you," he said smiling. "The same goes for you," you said trying not to give off a big creeper grin.
You made small talk the rest of the ride, not that it was long. Finally it was your stop. As you got up to leave the train Tom grabbed both your hand in both of his. "Call this number when you get the chance," he said and dropped a piece of paper into your hand. "Of course, I will, bye," you replied and left the train giving one glance back at Tom. This had probably been the best train ride ever.
