He glances over at me then back at Winry. "I didn't really want to know."

She shrugs. "Oops, well too late now." She stands up and walks away laughing. He growls and balls up his fists. Then he grabs his head and try to control his anger. He gets up and goes to the back of the plane. The plane lands and I wake up. I look around and see Kai in the back. "Why're you back there?"

"It's by the beer." He holds up an empty bottle.

My eyes widen. "I didn't know you drank. You could have shared," I smile a bit.

"Yeah well I only do it to help my temper." He gets up and exits the plane

"It's not good for you," I follow him out.

"I could name a number of things that isn't good for me but I still do."

I sigh. "Well don't do it again alright? If you get that pissed again then come talk to me." Winry peeks out of the door and grins. Suddenly her appearnce changes and Envy stands in the door way.

Kai pulla out a beer from his bag. "'Kay." He opens it and starts to drink it. I snatch the bottle out of his hand and toss it into a trashcan. "If you don't want to listen then don't expect me to be nice about it."

He puts his hood up and pulls out another beer. "Coming here was a mistake."

I stop walking. "How many do you have in your bag, Kai!?"

"I have anger issues of course I'm gonna take more then three."

My eyes narrow and my stare hardens. "Gimme your bag."

"I need it. My automail has been being weird lately." I reach into his bag and get rid of the rest of the beer. "Well this isn't going to help your automail," I turn and start walking again. Envy trials behind us.

"Damn it!!! It makes the pain go away or something like that...." He grabs his head and kicks the ground. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!!!!!"

"Kai! Get a hold of yourself damn it!" I grab his shoulders and hold him still. "Breathe, okay? Breathe."

'I can't breathe!' "I'm okay..."

"No, Kai. You're not okay. Don't bs me." I pull him aside and sit him down. "What's got you so worked up?"

"No seriously I just need-" He pulls out an inhaler. "I needed a second..."

"Oh shit, i'm sorry! Take your time." I step back.  He puts the inhaler up to his mouth and presses the button on the top. He takes a deep breathe and puts the inhaler away. "Sorry..." He rubs the back of his head.

"No..i'm sorry..I didn't know." I sit next to him. "Are you okay?"

"Mhmm...I just needed a second..."

I cross my legs and sigh. 'I'll have to keep an extra inhaler on hand just in case..' "I'm glad you're okay."

"sorry, I just..." He closes his eyes. "Sorry."

"it's not your fault, it's okay." I look down at my hands. "I'm sorry I threw your beer away.."

"I shouldn't have been drinking anyway." He runs his fingers through his hair and stands up. "Can...can we just find who your lookin' for?"

"Yeah...let's go." I stand up and start walking. Envy stands at the corner of where we were and smiles. "So the boy does have a weakness..good to know."

He follows me. "So who is it we are lookin' for?"

"An old man who knew my mother..his name is Fu I believe."

He can't help but laugh. "Fu."

I smile and shake my head. "I feel bad for this guy."

"Fu."

"Fuuuuuuu"

He smiles and looks ahead. "So where do we find this guy, Fu?"

"He lives in the middle of town supposedly, so we'll start there."

"Okay." He put his hands in his pockets. I nod and walk outside. I zip up my hoodie and call a cab. 'Man it's cold here,' Envy walks past us and a chill runs up my spine. I turn my head and look around. "What the.."

"Do you smell that?" Kai asks looking around.

I shake my head. "Smell what?"

"It stinks....I smelt it on the plane too, maybe I'm just imagining things..."

I take a breathe and choke a little. "No, you're not imagining it.." I shake my head and the cab pulls up. We get in and I direct the driver to Fu's house.

"Here we are. Let's hope we didn't come here for nothin'."

I glare out the window. "This is old man Fu's house?"

"4242 central road right?" The driver says.

I nod. "Yeah, you're right. Stay here please we'll be back." I step out of the car.

Kai follows me as we approach the house. "Nice place..."

I nod. "Yeah, real nice." I walk up the steps and bang on the door. A midheight, purple hair women dressed in a maids uniform answers the door. "Can I help you?" She askes.

I nod. "We're looking for Mr.Fu, is he in?"

She nods. "Right this way," She leads us inside. 'Something doesn't feel right...'

He shakes his head. 'The smell is back...'

"Mr. Fu will be right with you," she bows slightly and I nod. "Miss, what is your name?"

"Lyra, why do you ask?"

"Just curious, thank you." She leaves the room and I sit down.

"This place is off..I can feel it."

And I felt like I stuck out in Ishbal...' "Yeah, I think that smell is back..but it could just be the booze."

I roll my eyes. "I should have left you in the cab," A gust of wind blows through the open window and rustled the curtains. I jump and try to calm down. "I don't like this..." Just then a short, wrinkled man walks in. "Amelia Rockbell...I know the face anywhere," He sits down in front of us. Kai looks around the room. 'Maybe I'm just being paranoid.' A car door slams outside. "To what do I owe the pleasure Miss Rockbell?" I glare at him. "I need to know if my mother had any enemys."

He nods. "I should have known you'd come to me for this,"

I don't take my eyes off him. "Just tell me what you know,"

"We all have enemies dear."

'I don't like this...' He starts to get an uneasy feeling. "Amelia...."

I look at him. "What's wrong Kai?"

"Maybe...we should go..."

"But the fun's barley started," Lyra says coming into the room. Behind her enters our cab driver. I stand up. "What the hell's going on?" He swallows and moves his hand over his automail making it a blade. "Wait," I whisper. I step forward and cross my arms. "You know what we want Amelia." Fu says.

"Yeah I know, but you really expect me to give it up so easily? I only have one you know." The cab driver takes his normal form and cracks his knuckles. "Hand it over Amelia." Envy demands.

Kai looks at me with a "you-got-to-be-shitting-me-face" "What do you have?"

I sigh. "I guess it's about time I tell you," I sit back on the couch. "I used to manufactor philospher stones," I close my eyes and take a deep breathe. "But they were special ones, ones far more powerful than a regular stone."

"And she destroyed all but one," Envy chimes in.

"They were sapphire blue, and made from simple elements. So I didn't have to kill anyone to make them."
