Sentencing

"Alright." I put away the tools and examine my automail. "So you think you're ready?"

I nod. "Yeah, I think I am."

"Alright, thank you again."

I nod. "No problem," I sit down and a bit of sadness dwells upon me. "It's gonna suck without you here."

"It won't be bad at all. You might not get so many headaches."

I smile a bit. "I'll come to miss those head aches."

I run my fingers through my hair. "Well...you'll come visit me right?"

"Of course I will," I stand up and sigh. "Your sentencing is tomorrow..." I frown.

I nod "yeah...kind of sucks.." I smile a little.

"It sucks a lot..this will be the last time I see you like this for a while.."

I sigh. "Cheer up sunshine."

I smile and bit and quickly hug you. "I'm really gonna miss you."

I hug you back. "I'm gonna miss you too."

"Promise me you won't get into any fights okay?" I sniffle a little.

"...I'll try not too." I hug you tighter

I rest my head on your shoulder and hold in tears. 'Damn it...why couldn't it be someone else..'

I kiss you on the forehead. "Don't do anything stupid while I'm gone."

I smile and nod. "A-alright..i'll try."

I smile back. "Good."

The next morning I dread waking up. I get on and put on a black dress and go to pick you up. 'Maybe this is all just a nightmare...' I sigh. 'If it is I better wake up soon..' Tsubaki calls me on the way to pick you up and reminds me that we have to be there soon. I pull up in front of the shop and honk the horn.

I walk out of the shop and lock the door. I got into the car and hand you the keys. "You okay?"

I toss the keys in the glove box and drive away. "Not really..but i'll have to deal with it." I frown. "Are you okay?"

"Same. I know I turned myself In and stuff, but i made a mistake." I look down at my hands as they shake a little. "Just nervous."

I punch you playfully in the air and try to lighten to mood. "You'll be okay..maybe they'll go easy on you.." I pull up to the court house and turn the car off. I stare up at it and frown.

"I highly doubt that." I smile a little "I'm gonna get torn apart." I say looking at the court house.

I clutch the steering wheel and sigh. "Let's hope for the best.." I relentlessly exit the car and trudge up the stairs and walk inside.

I walk inside and take my seat. I take a deep breathe 'this is gonna suck.'

Tsubaki takes a seat next to you and organizes some papers. I sit in the first row behind and you and nervously tap my leg. 'Keep it together...' The judge enters the room and everyone stands up.

'This is gonna really really suck...' I swallow hard and look at the judge

He stares at you hard and examines the papers in front of him. "So young man..you are being charged with four admitted murders of the second degree..." He sets the papers down and takes a breathe. "I will take no mercy on you." I start to feel light headed as I listen. 'Damn it...I can't take much more of this..'

'As excepted..' I nod and look down at the desk.

He grabs his gavel and raises it in the air. "Kai Gasts, I here by sentence you to four years in state prison." He slams his gavel down, letting his final words ring in my ears. The bailiff comes out to collect you and I stand up, my face dripping with tears. "Don't you forget what's waiting for you when you get back you got it!"

I give you a weak smile "I got it sunshine."

Tsubaki comes over to comfort me but I push her away. "I'll be waiting!" The bailiff slaps hands cuffs on you and leads you out of the room.

I close my eyes tight and a tear rolls down my cheek. 'Im really...really gonna miss her...'
