Choices

I pick up my phone and dial your number.

I look over at the phone and debate on if I should answer it. I sigh and answer it.

"Hey,"

"Hey, I got into the FBI and put some stuff in about the merchant."

"That's great!" I gush. "Once they get to the cave everything should go perfectly," I smile. "Good work, Kai."

"Thanks." I smile. "His finger prints and some of his product is in the cave. And now he's in the system."

"Fantastic, things are coming together." I say. "But we have one more problem."

"and that is?"

"Scar," I sigh. "When I got home Winry was here and when she left I went up stairs and found Scar digging through my stuff."

"oh great. Who knows what she told him..."

I nod. "Yeah I know, that's what worries me...she was awfully apologetic when I talked to her too."

"Maybe she said something about your past..."

I frown and clench the phone. "I really hope she didn't."

"I hope so too...damn what are we gonna do?"

I shrug. "Hope for the best...cause that's all we can do at this point."

"Yeah I guess your right." 'Shit.'

'Maybe I should skip town..' I shake the thought from my head. 'Don't be stupid..even Kai said not to do that.' "Can I come over? I don't really trust the phone line right now."

"Yeah sure." I smile a little.

"Alright, i'll be over in a few." I hang up an grab my coat and go to your shop.

"okay." I hang up the phone and go down stairs

I get to the shop and knock on the door.

I open it up. "Hey sunshine."

I smile and sigh. "Can I come in?"

"Yeah." I move aside and let you come in. "Make yourself at home."

"Thanks," I step inside and set my coat down. I look around and smile. I had been in here before but everything felt different this time. It felt safe. I see Sage and pat her on the head. "Hey Sage," I smiled.

She barks and wags her tail. "So I don't really have guests over that often so...."

I stand up and rub the back of my neck. "Sorry I didn't mean to intrude..I just thought it'd be better if we talked in person.."

"No it's fine. I don't mind." I smile

"Alright.." I return the smile. "So any ideas on what to do with Scar?"

"Well we really just need for them to go back to the cave. Then this case should be over."

"Hmmm..." I cross my arms. A little light bulb pops up over my head and I smirk. "When they call me back in for more questioning i'll direct them toward the cave."

"That's a good idea. Mention something's that they probably wouldn't have found in the cave."

"Right," I smile. "We can finally end of all this."

"It's about time too." I smile.

I grin and scratch my head. "I'm gonna have to stop getting us into stuff like this.." I sigh. "But thanks for all your help."
