Rescue

The flight lands and I grab my backpack and quickly get off the plane.

I grab my stuff and get off the plane. 'Give him some space' I leave the airport and go home. Back in Xing my mother roams the streets looking for someone. She passes a few shops and spots someone at a street corner. "Lin?" She says.

"Trisha?" He looks up in amazement.

"H-how can you..."

She smirks. "Our daughter is very powerful."

Because I walked home it took me an hour to get back to my automail shop. I unlock the door and walk in. I whistle and Sage comes running down the stairs. I kneel down and pet her as she rolls on her stomach. "It's good to see you too." I give a slight smile.

Lin sits down on the sidewalk and pushes his hair back.

"She maybe powerful but she's also very stupid..."

"How can you say that? Aren't you happy to see me?"

He sighs. "Of course I am, but you shouldn't be here."

I set my bag on the ground and walk around the shop.

I sigh and toss my bag on the floor. I light some candles and sit on the floor. "I guess i'm on my own again."

"I guess it's just me and you." I look down at the puppy. "I don't even know why I'm mad at her..."

I rest my chin on my knees and close my eyes. "It's probably better this way..."

"I should go apologize..." I look outside and then sit on the floor. "Tomorrow."

"I'm surprised he's put up with me for this long.." I get up and go up stairs. I lay down on my bed and close my eyes. "I can't let him go so easily."

I stand up and sit back down at my work station. I roll up my sleeve and look at my automail. "This thing is junk." I start to work on it and a flew hours later I fall asleep.

It's a rainy day and I sleep in late. I'm woken up by loud banging on the door. I roll out of bed and sleepily answer the door. My eyes widen as I see my father along side my mother. "Get her." My mother orders. Suddenly my father throws a sack over me and slings me over hos shoulder. I scream and squirm. "Let me go you basterd!" He tosses me into a car and they drive off.

I get up and stretch. "Damn my back hurts." I get changed and walk out the door. "I'll be back later Sage." I close and lock the door then go into the alley and see a patch of grass growing on the ground. "Girls like flowers." I put my hands on the ground and beautiful flowers appear. I pick them up and walk down the street to your house.

We drive for a while until we come to a sudden stop. I hear car doors slam and the trunk opens. My father grabs me and we go inside an odd smelling building. He sets me down and pulls the sack off my head. I look up at him and scowl. "I can't believe you. After years of being gone this is the shit you pull when you get back?"

I knock on your door and no one answers. "She must not be home..." I sit down next to your front door. "I'll wait for her."

He looks down and frowns. "You should be ashamed of yourself." I mutter. He turns and walks away. "So what do i do!? Just sit here!? Hey! Come back here i'm talking to you!"

"Quiet down Amelia, there's no need to yell." My mother walks into the room and smirks.

"Why did you bring me here?"

"To conduct the largest experiment ever."

I sit in the rain and wait for you to return. "Where could she be? It's been like...an hour or so."
