Third person

Over the next few days Scott was very anxious. He knew by now they'd found the bodies; it had been all over the local news. Surely they had started performing autopsies and searching for just what had killed them. It was killing Scott inside to sit around while there was a chance of his lover getting sick from infection, so he made sure to tell Jeremy to check on Vincent when he could.

The three corpses had in fact been taken to the coroner. Chet and Brad had been mauled by Vincent and it was obvious to see how they died. Fritz however looked quite different. Yes he had claw marks on his wrists and other areas, but there were also two very distinct and deep holes from Vincent's fangs in his neck.

The woman took a swab of the venom that remained to have it tested. That was certainly no bear bite. It looked more like a snake's, which is completely possible. But the woman knew the minute "snake" came out of her mouth, she'd have an angry mob rampaging through the forest to find a snake creature.

The doctor's name was Elizabeth Ginnings. She had grown up in the town her entire life and knew the stories of the snake people. She was never scared of them, but rather found them incredibly fascinating. If there was a snake-human hybrid it would be incredibly strong and fast; perfect for survival. She spent a few years searching the forest, but never managed to find a single trace. Now she could quite possibly have one.

It took a few more days for the lab results to come back. The venom tested wasn't like any snake reported in the area. Elizabeth now knew this wasn't a bear attack. She even measured the length between each claw mark to be sure. They weren't the size of a bear's, but more that of a human's. She had to talk to the one person who was there: Scott.

Scott was up in his room, listening music to help calm his nerves. The last week had been torture and he would rather have spent it with Vincent. He desperately wanted to get out of the house.

Since his parents had gone back to work, he opened his window and climbed down the rain gutter. It felt good to be outside again, until he saw a black car pull into his driveway. Now the brunette wanted to go back inside.

He watched a woman get out of the car. She was dressed in a white lab coat and a nice skirt. The brunette assumed she must be a doctor as she walked up to him. The brunette felt adrenaline coursing through his veins as she got even closer to him.

Why would a doctor show up to the house? Scott's mother had already shared her feelings about the situation and Scott had done his part in telling the story. What more could they want?

"Scott, if you'll come with me I'd like to share some important information with you..."
