Warning: mentions of infidelity, carelessness in the sense that reader doesn't give a shit about arson, sadness, i guess, um, I'm sorry about making Kyle make a really shitty mistake.

If you could not tell, this is very, very, much based on Burn from Hamilton: An American Musical, and um, check it out, cause it's fucking awesome. Eliza Hamilton is played by Philippa Soo, and I haven't heard the replacement singers sing it yet, so...

(GUYS I REALLY LOVE PIPPA GUYS I LOVE HER SO MUCH SHE IS AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL AND SHIT AND JASMINE CEPHAS-JONES IS TOO I JUST AHGGDNKDUSOJ I LOVE THEM)

I don't think I can put a video because Hamilton is so popular that would be bootlegging and I would probably get caught.

If I want to include a part two, then that's when the Bebe x Reader will come into play, where she will be playing, more or less, the character of Maria Reynolds.

Reader will also be Eliza af in part 2 if it exists, if I feel like it.

"Hey."

Kyle didn't look up. "Leave me alone, Stan."

A gloved hand placed itself on top of Kyle's bare own. The redhead wrenched it away.

"Things happen for a reason, Kyle." The raven-haired boy frowned, somewhat disconcerted about how racously the tables had turned.

"You don't understand," Kyle whispered, hardly able to speak. His voice cracked, hoarse from shouting and sobbing. Kyle was painfully aware of how hypocritical this situation was, but he could do nothing about his emotions.

"Fine." Stan sat a little bit closer. Kyle scooted the same distance away from his super best friend. "Just know..." He paused, trying to calculate some way to make the delivery less painful. "She's probably going insane, trapping herself in her room."

"I... I know." Kyle felt absolutely helpless, knowing that he was completely at fault for that.

"She burned all of your letters, all of them that even contained the smallest mention of you," Stan murmured. "What you did hurt her, Kyle. I understand that you regret what you did, but she's not moping like you are, she's setting things on fire. Go right what you wronged before innocents are put in danger." The quarterback slid a cup of coffee towards Kyle. "You don't have to pay me back."

"Thanks."

The words felt empty. Suddenly, Kyle felt what Stan had felt so often. When the one you love turns her back on you forever, the world does taste like shit. Everything sounds like shit. Flowers in spring seem to wilt, forest critters seem cruelly uncaring and scruffy, the deer's coats he had admired in his childhood lost their luster. Everything falls to absolute shit when you can't make what you did wrong right.

"Good luck," Stan called, walking away. Probably to converse with Cartman and Kenny. "You'll need it."

"I know."

Walking to a trash can, Kyle downed the cup in one gulp and tossed it into the metal basket.

He knew what he had to do, but he wasn't looking forward to it.
