Emptyness

This will be on the second ending the chapter titled  alternative ending...  I'm sorry it's been so long and for those that are staying with me on this - I have a lot planned but can't be bothered to write it 😬🙄 anyway I'll actually write this and surprise charlotte_3588  for once for writing - if you haven't read her new incredible book then I suggest you do because it's amazing and I can't get enough of it 💕 she's so talented in writing and writes amazing Jonnie stories that are so adorable 🙊 anyway I will actually update now ..... sorry if it's bad 😬🙈don't hate me

He had no words in which he could use to describe the emotions he felt , she had left him , alone , without warning . He felt empty , betrayed , curious, curious to how she had done that to him and why ? Well he knew why but not actually he was guessing, fantasising in fact , the way things had been between them recently as a couple and at work he wasn't surprised they had both managed to end up in this situation . However what did surprise him was that it was connie who had broken. He had always described her as strong willed , determined and loyal , yet she had just walked out on him . He was determined to get her back , he was going to see her again he was certain of it

He was still sat in the car out of anger with everything keep replying over in his head like a broken record . He had driven away from Jacs house but he still hadn't found a place of residence for the night; feeling helpless to where he should go , at connies house he felt he was abusing his relationship yet at home it felt so abnormal , he had now been living with connie and grace on such a regular occasion that going home to his house felt more like going back to his parents .

There was however one place that both himself and connie felt welcomed ; in fact all staff in the ED knew of this man and had his number in their phone - it was intact the philosophical Charlie fairhead - Mr wise  himself ! Any staff member could always rely on him and felt the security within their fellow college and friend they could always depend on him at any hour of any particular day.

"Thank you so much for this I didn't know who else to call or what to do"

"No worries , it's fine " the older man spoke with such a reassuring tone letting nothing phased him even at this hour. Letting a small welcoming smile grace his lips as he spoke, placing confidence within Jacob that he made the right choice upon calling on this man.

"Thank you for doing this for me but I just needed a few words of advise and a favour " the older man looked not speaking but taking everything in as he shifted in his seat and moved his body more forward inviting Jacob to open up with out forcing him to expand or making him lose his train of thought. "Look after we had our arguement I went back and couldn't find her , I thought she may have gone to Jacs but she said that she had left and ran away and now I don't know where she is , would you know ? Or how to get her back ? Where she might be ? I'm stumped where else to look-"

"Calm , Jacob slow down , take a deep breath, she won't have left you , because believe it or not you have changed her life and she will see that " Jacob picked his head up from facing down to his shoes ; was this man really saying this , he knew her more than anyone past or present . Smiling over to the man perched in the corner arm chair under a reading light ."she won't have gone far she probably needed to clear her head after snapping at you and jac well -"  stopping mid sentence and taking a breath, pondering over the next words he used "she'll have probably been winding you up she's good at that "

" no, I did think that too  but I do believe she was telling the truth she did genuinely seem worried "

"Oh" was the only word that was  able to fall from the noble mans mouth genuinely stumped as to Connie's whereabouts - this was so unlike connie she would normally tell him where she was going- she valued him as her farther figure in her life and that's how she treated him and how he treated her like his own daughter .

" could you contact her and try to talk to her because if anyone would get through to her it's you Charlie " hearing his name being mentioned pulled him out of his daze .

"Yeah sure of course " hoping that if answered Jacobs question.

Going to work the next morning felt weird as he strode through the department doors passing reception and her office on the way. Glancing towards her office; out of habit ; seeing that the blinds were down, no lights on and door shut  he was adamant she haddnt beaten him in and left . The alarm was still flashing upon the top of the door and only she knew the combination.

He was about to start the first shift of the week without her , the shift they spent the most time together as she started early yet finished on the same time as Jacob so they often coordinated the same breaks, lunches and patients . This shift was going to drag he thought to himself before exiting the changing room , closing the locker and walking out to begin the torturous shift ahead .

I know it's only short but it took me forever to write I'm sorry I'm going to update more regularly from now as I really do have a lot planned
